ZachAttackParticipantSo basically, we look at the mock draft and pick the top 5 picks and that’s our team?

LaFlamaBlancaParticipantWhy not make this thread a little more interesting by maybe making the rules you have to pick 5 different players from different conferences. Maybe have 3 upperclassmen and two underclassmen. Also throw in a 6 man for fun. Just a thought.

Ewalton23ParticipantPG- Tim Quarterman
SG-Isiah Briscoe
SF-Dwayne Bacon
PF-Perry Ellis
C- Ben SimmonsSize from the 1-5 positions. Not a typical big man but a team hard to guard. I would play 2-3 zone since having no shot blocker.

kazamParticipantC. Karnowski (Gonzaga)
PF. Simmons (LSU)
SF. Mykahiliuk (Kansas)
SG. Malcom Brogdon (Virginia)
PG. Kendrick Nunn (Illinois)
Karnowski is one of my favorite college players along with Nunn. I like Brogdon and Mykahiliuk to space the floor and defend and then Simmons as the stud and main playmaker. This team could play a number of different styles, certainly would be fun to watch

darius3milesParticipantBen Simmons should not be a 6th man in any lineup except for the Spurs or the Eastern and Western Conference All Star teams.

dcaseParticipantFair enough. I tried to play by the rules while putting together a team of players I like, while not just picking the projected top 10 picks.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantTo make things interesting here is my team of strictly upperclassmen college players who are probably fringe NBA prospects at best:
G Fred van vleet
G Ron Baker
F gorgues niang
F kyle wiltjer
F amid brimah
Bench:
G Marcus Paige
G Malcolm brogdon
F Perry Ellis
F taurean Prince
I don’t expect any of these guys to be first round draft picks but they would form a really awesome college squad.

ncballerI’d do a three guard lineup. Lots of good wings in college b-ball this year.
PG Kris Dunn
SG Healthy Marcus Paige
SG Melo Trimble
PF Ben Simmons
C Karnowski (in this lineup imagine the space he would have to operate. Can’t double him because Trimble and Paige can be lethal from outside)Bench:
PG Kyle Collinsworth
SG Denzel Valentine
SF Brandon Ingram
PF Gorgues Niang

adumParticipant1-4 are all capable of running the offense at a high level.
PG – Jamaal Murray : He’s not scared of the moment and is capable of playing both guard positions
SG – Ron Baker : Seasoned vet on the perimeter who also has the versatility to play both guard positions
SG/SF – Denzel Valentine : Ability to hit the 3(improved shot) and guard 1-4 in college basketball
PF – Ben Simmons : IMO the best player in College basketball, give him shooters and playmakers……
C – Amida Brimah : Shot blocking in CBB is devastating and with his improving all around game he’s a great anchor
