A solid Big Man to build your team around, this is one of the hardest positions to fill in the league.

A flashy scorer to bring in fans and run the offense

A solid defender to make up for the scorer’s lack of Defense and solid defenders usually mesh well with the team.

The Veteran coach with a focus on Defense, I picked the defensive center and the defensive free agent so he will be able to play to their strengths. Plus he is a safer pick than a college coach (who often don’t do well in the NBA, and a ex-player who are pretty hit and miss as coaches)

Alright time for me to chose….I’m going to go with the point guard who isn’t a good defender. I’ll also chose the highly skilled Bigman from ‘Bama to form an immediate 1-2 punch. Then I’ll go with the versatile Defender to guard the teams best perimeter players. For my coach I’ll go with the veteran event though he’s old i could still get a lot of knowledge from him to my team.

I bring in the Center that actually has pretty good numbers for being known as a defensive C.

The great scorer will come and play both Guard spots for me, but start at PG.

The Versatile guard to play the other guard spot to make up for the Scorer having no D.

I bring in the young coach to coach all of my young players.

Very true, I was tempted to draft the combo guard but a fast team with defenders should be fine. Plus, if I suck I will draft a top scoeer next year! Haha.

and personally.
i think its rare a team wins a champoinship with ONE premiter presence and ONE post presence.
shaq and kobe are the only duo i think EVER.

potland lacks that third option thats another reason why they will never be great.
i think a succesful team needs…..

a solid coach
a post presence
a star/outside presence(premeiter scorer ala SG/SF)
and a slasher
average point guard
plus add that with defense you have a ring or something close

The problem Mallstax is that that teams is near impossible to get. i also think that you need versatility not a slasher. LA and Orlando are the closest teams to it…
