JeffreyhardenParticipantBucks Get: Russell Westbrook Perry Jones Kendrick Perkins
Thunder Get: Larry Sanders, Caron Butler, Brandon Knight, Ersan Ilyasova
The way that Kevin Durant is playing I can’t let Russell Westbrook come back and "mess" it up. When I say mess i mean it as in Westbrook will come in and do his typical Westbrook stuff with a stat line of 23points 7assist 5rebounds 2 assist 8/19 from the field. That is good numbers and Westbrook is a top 10 talent in the NBA I think. But how great Durant is and with a better and more prepared sidekicks (Imagine Larry Sanders and Serge Ibaka clogging the paint) Reggie Jackson, Brandon Knigh, Jeremy Lamb as a young guard core, The Thunder will be stacked for the present and future. Serge Ibaka is doing good this year in the scoring area, Reggie Jackson is a starting point guard in the NBA and Brandon Knight and Jeremy Lamb can give the Thunder the scoring off the bench for the backcourt and Ersan Ilyasova can provide scoring off the bench for the frontcourt. But that Larry Sanders and Serge Ibaka combo would be deadly defensively.
The Bucks get a superstar that is young (might be injury prone a little now) but the Bucks get a top 10 talent in Russell Westbrook and they already have Giannis Antetokounmpo and John Hensen on the frontline, when healthy OJ Mayo is a good player that came out during Westbrook’s draft class along with (right now) top pick in a potentially great draft. If I was the Bucks I’d pick Andrew Wiggins in this case and have a great defensive team. They would have to pick a Center up to replace larry Sanders (Spencer Hawes?) but Perkins can hold down the title for his last year. I know that
Russell Westbrook Andrew Wiggins Giannis Antetokounmpo John Hensen Kendrick Perkins
6th man: OJ Mayo
Thats a top 5 team in the East next year.

fundamentalsforfunParticipantthis is a superstar driven league, if your lucky you have one, if you very lucky you have two, and the thunder have done the intelligent thing and sign 2 of them to long term deals. you need superstars to win championships come playoff time when starter minutes are increased, superstars are more likely to get calls.
Westbrook is an exceptionally gifted player and saying that he is going to mess with the chemistry is insane, they are 21-4 with him playing this season. he makes the thunder better, and with their much improved bench (through jackson’s, lamb’s, and even jones’ development) they have a very legitimate shot at winning the title.
No way does this trade ever go through, especially after how the thunder stumbled during the playoffs without westbrook last year.
plus, none of the guys you put in the trade make OKC in any way better.

wd40rocksParticipantSo the Thunder should trade what is almost the perfect compliment to their franchise star for a collection of middling, overpaid players? That would mess up their organization way more than Westbrook coming back.

LitteringAnd…ParticipantWow the trade ideas are flooding in, still this one is next-level stupid; maybe top 10 all-time least-likely-to-happen/clearly-a-bias-fan-of-one-of-the-teams-involved trades I’ve seen on here, congrats!

LitteringAnd…ParticipantIn fact, you know what? you’re right having two superstars instead of one is just silly. Let’s expand this trade out:
Trade #2 – Buck give the Wolves John Henson and 10 non-consecutive second rounders for KLove
Trade #3 – Bucks give the Rockets Perkins and a ham sandwich for Howard
Then use all the remain cap space from fairy land to sign Bruce Wayne.
Rotation looks like – Westrbrook, Wiggins, Giannis, Love, Howard. With Mayo and Batman coming of the bench.
&$#%#&@!

mplsrawkusParticipantyou forget that lebron is a free agent this off season. the bucks can sign him for the league minimum and a lifetime supply of wisconsin cheddar. and phil jackson is going to be the new coach. who can say no to living in milwakee, all the fat women you can handle.

nath09ParticipantIf it seems silly on paper to seperate a 1 2 punch like Westbrook and Durant there is NO WAY the Bucks seperate a ham sandwich and Mayo!

MopgrassParticipantNow people are just getting silly. Firstly, Batman, like most people in this forum, could start for the Bucks. Secondly, Roy Hibbert would be no match for the caped crusader’s advanced weaponry (which would be particularly helpful in the low post). Lastly, the cap space from Fairy Land is infinite.

HitsterParticipantIf the Bucks did want Westbrook then Sam Presti’s first line when he stopped laughing would be "Okay your unprotected first round pick for 2014?" at which point John Hammond would hang up.

machu46ParticipantYa know what? As a Bucks fan, I think I’d be okay with this trade lol. Could we have 10 1st round picks too?
