Wahoo757ParticipantOffensive minded big that’s mobile that can get up and down the court and can provide some scoring punch to balance Ellis and Jennings and compliment either Udoh or Sanders who are more defensive minded. I think they’ll go PJ III or Zeller, or Sullinger if they don’t care about athleticism.

BasterdInABasketParticipantAt #12 I would look towards Perry Jones. I’m not the biggest fan of his but as a small market team, Milwaukee needs to hit a HR in the draft since they wont ever get any big time FAs to come to town. No more Larry Sanders (role player), Tobias Harris (role player), Joe Alexander (scrub) picks. Best case: he shows promise as a starter in his first year and a future star, Worst case: he looks lost and cant find a position, the Bucks struggle, they cut ties with Skiles and Hammond (last year of their deals), bring in a new coach to mentor him for a couple years. Too much potential to pass on if hes there.
I also seen a trade idea on here Jennings for the #6 or #8. I’d be all in on that if somehow Barnes was there at 6 for example or even Lamb at 8. I dont like the idea of Jennings as the PG going forward for Milwaukee so if POR or TOR were indeed interested I’d pull the trigger, unlikely but worth a thought.
Thoughts? Ideas?

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThey need a defensive minded small forward to complement Ellis and Jennings who are scoring guards(iguodala for 12th pick maybe?) They also need a legitimate bigman who can guard the basket ilyasova and gooden are perimiter oriented bigs

Stinky34ParticipantI agree with taking Perry Jones… I personally believe he can be a star if he would just hustle more… I do think Tobias Harris is going to be a very good player for the Bucks… I also disagree with the idea of the Bucks neefing a defensive SF seeing that we already have Mbah Moute…

Pro-21ParticipantI followed the bucks all last season and they could be one awesome power forward away from being a 5th or 6th seed in the east. This guy has allstar potential, hes the most athletic big man in the draft and hes really more of a combo-forward. That sort of length/athleticism and skillset is hard to come by and I don’t think the bucks should stock pile role players, time to take a risk. Also I think someone who could end up being a 20 plus per game scorer is Quincy Miller. Back in high school, before his ACL injury, I saw him as someone with Kevin Durant potential, but the injury happened and playing next to perry jones probably didn’t help his cause. He measured out out at 6’10" with a 7’1" wingspan to go along with the fact that he is a definite small forward at the next level. He has outrageous handle for someone with his size and his jumpshot while being flatfooted, is very smooth and shows potential down the line. As for his athleticism post-ACL, he had a 36 inch vertical at the combine which is an excellent measurement for any athlete, hes recovered from his injury pretty well. Bucks should take a look at both of these guys.

bball89ParticipantYeah I laugh at these fools that say we need a definsive minded SF. We have Luc Bah a moute, and Mike Dunleavy @ the 3, plus Delfino stated he wanted to stay. The last thing we need is a PF why would we need a PF? We already have 5, Ersan, Larry Sanders, Ekpe Edoh, Drew Gooden, and Jon Leur and they’re saying we should add Perr Jones, or Jared Sullingers? Yeah that makes sense get a 6th PF…

usfballerParticipant1. Tyler Zeller- With no true C in Mil, Zeller would get minutes immediately. His ability to run the floor would be magnified by Jennings and Ellis. With a roster ready to compete for the playoffs, Zeller has always felt like the perfect fit for me in MIL.
2. Meyers Leonard- If you can’t get the NBA ready Zeller, then drafting the most talented player left at the same position just seems to make sense.
3. Terrence Ross- Someone who can score without needing to dribble or command the ball much would mesh well with Ellis and Jennings. Ross is also a much better 3-pt shooter and would help spread the floor for Monta and Brandon.
4. Austin Rivers- I know it contradicts everything I just said about Ross, but when your best G off the bench is Shaun Livingston, your bench could use some help. Rivers would excell in a scorer-off-the-bench role, especially early in his career.
5. Perry Jones 3- Rolling the dice on his talent and hope you can utilize him to acquire a piece that may fit better down the road.

kobyzParticipanthow people can think he could become a star if he is so shy as a player?!!? his mentality make his potential only a role player in the NBA!

JoeWolf1I don’t like it because I think PJ III is a stretch four at the next level and when you look at their past drafts and acquisitions you have.
Larry Sanders – PF
Tobias Harris – PF
Epke Udoh – PF/C
Drafting Jones would just put the Bucks in the same situation as Houston, with a bunch of young PF’s and not enough minutes to develop them.
I think they should go after a SG to give Jennings a young back court mate or try to get a 7 footer
Rivers, Waiters, Lamb, Leonard, Zeller, and Ross I think would be their best options.

delfamParticipantYeah I’d go with either Leondard or Lamb/Ross. Leondard with Sanders would give a pretty good frontcourt or Lamb/Ross would pair nicely with Jennings/Ellis.

PulseGlazerParticipantJones makes no sense since they have an abundance of floor spacers. Leonard is a must if he’s there and if not, Zeller. I can see the idea of grabbing Lamb or Ross, though, as either could be a 2 next to Jennings/Ellis and allow for matchup flexibility.

JoeWolf1^I just read that they worked out Zeller recently.

Andrew1984ParticipantErsan Illyasova is only 25 years old, he’s 6-9, 235, and in his fourth year he averaged 13 points and nine rebounds on 49 percent shooting and a scorching 45 percent from 3-point range, and that was in only 27 minutes a night. As a starter, his average was over 14 points a night.
Unfortunately for Milwaukee, he is an UFA and it appears New Jersey is all over him and has the $8 million a year he’ll garner. Whether Ilyasova played the 3 or the 4 spot is hard to say. I would say Udoh will probably start at the 4. So they’re good at the 1, 2, and 4. I think they’d love a big man to anchor the middle, because Drew Gooden and Jon Leur probably aren’t the answer, and I don’t think they’re sky high on Carlos Delfino at the 3.
But I think Meyers Leonard and Tyler Zeller will both be off the board by 12. The question then becomes, Can Perry Jones or Terrence Jones play the 3? They seem to be trying to bill themselves as 3s, but it appears a lot of teams are skeptical that either player has the lateral quickness or ball-handling ability to really be a perimeter player in the NBA. It’s hard to even call either one of them a stretch 4, because that’s a term typically reserved for knock-down shooters like Steve Novak, Matt Bonner, or Ryan Anderson. I
So I think Moe Harkless is in play here. He’s a legitimate 3, and he’s less of a reach at 12 than the next group of 5s would be: Fab Melo, Festus Ezeli, etc. Harkless is climbing draft boards after some reportedly outstanding interviews, he’s only 19, and Chad Ford even mentioned him as a darkhorse for Golden State at No. 7!
I also think they’ll seek a 5 in free agency. They may throw some cash at Spencer Hawes, Chris Kaman, or possibly Ian Mahinmi, if they’re hoping for a bargain or gem-in-the-rough, especially with them already getting the bulk of their FGAs from the backcourt. I could see them going Jennings-Ellis-Harkless-Udoh-Mahinmi with Leuer, Moute, Gooden, Dunleavey, Harris off the bench, or even Tobias Harris starting at the 3 with Harkless learning off the bench his first year.
