In my mind, both deserved the same exact punishment. But the nba had different ideas. Matt barnes was suspended for 1 game whuile terry had his flagrant 2 foul for shoving steve blake downgraded to a flagrant 1 thus according to the league he shouldnt have even been thrown out of the game let alone suspended.

Both guys shoved someone in the back. Terry did it to be dirty and started the whole thing. Barnes did it to protect a teammate and escalated the whole situation. Both went crazy trying to get at each  other afterwards and had to be restrained by officials and other players and escorted off the court. 

So how is that barnes gets further punishment while terry actually gets his flagrant 2 taken away from him?

Also…I’m a Mavs fan, love Terry, love Cubes, and the rest of the gang, but I’ve kind of grown weary this year of all the talking they have been doing. Cuban used to go after the refs, after Stern, and did it in a comical way.

He still does a bit, but this whole Phil Jackson/Cuban feud is out of hand. You can just tell that JackZen isn’t phased at all by what Cuban is saying, and he holds all the cards in this game: Phil championships=325, Cubes= 0.

Terry has been annoying as hell this year also, feeling the need to call out people on the opposing teams consistently, and often times not backing it up with his play. His runway thing, thats fine..cocky sure, but it gets the Mavs going I guess, but he’s become too much of a punk for me this year.

I guess both of them are just tired of the Mavs being called soft, so they feel the need to talk tough, but I guess they aren’t aware that talking tough really just makes you seem even softer in the end… /rant.

 Mark C and the Jet sum mark-ass-bitches. Terry is just tryin to act tough, as is Matt Barnes except that Barnes has always been doing this shit. The Jet is just tryin to act tough by goin after the little white boy he didn’t expect to get in his shit. But I can see why Barnes was suspended and Terry not. Matty went a little more wild rippin his shirt off Rodman style and threw a Mavs assistant to the floor(albeit he should have never been grabbing a player from another team). Still some bullshit that would have never happened had it been another team.

That assistant had no right putting his hands on Barnes and deserved some kind of punishment. The NBA is so soft right now, how embarassing…
