paradigmnParticipantOne of the TOP Players in the Class of 2012…BRICE JOHNSON….has just committed to UNC. This gives UNC 4 recruits so far for next year…Marcus Paige(Possibly #1 pg in class of 2012)…J.P. Tokoto(highlight dunker) and big man Joel James.
Maybe not a SUPER star studded….but from top to bottom…doesn’t look to bad. Here is a quick player profile of Brice Johnson for anyone interested.

mikeyvthedonParticipantThat class may not exactly have top rated players, but they have a couple front court guys with big potential and players that will more than likely stay around for a few years and provide some experience. NC’s last couple of championship teams (2005 and 2009) had a great mixture of experienced veterans and some top rated younger talent. They may not have landed that monster Harrison Barnes type prospect, but they got some great fill ins for the future. Also, seeing that Tyler Zeller is a senior, plus Harrison Barnes, John Henson and James McAdoo all seem to be as good as gone, this should help to ease the pain. Roy Williams has become a master at re-stocking these teams to be competitive, really think that Brice Johnson is a huge upside pick-up. Not to mention, if Kendall Marshall does indeed stay, than they will actually have the back-up PG they more than likely will be missing this year. The Tar Heels should make a title run this year, anything less I am sure will be a big disappointment, but I think they have a class that could play major roles upon them maybe landing more marquee recruits in 2013 and 2014.

akhan786ParticipantThis class wasn’t exactly what Roy had in mind since they’re getting their 5th and 6th choices for big men in 2012 but it’s still better then Duke…
We don’t have any big men committed for 2012…and we’re not too sure about Tony Parker and Mitch McGary because it seems that other schools are in the lead for them.

PaulsJayhawksParticipantThey got a bunch of guys who are going to stick around for a few years, they will lose a lot after this year so its a good core to rebuild with.
