     1. Anthony Davis (LOCK)

    2. Thomas Robinson= I believe M.J. is gonna go with the safe pick, he just cant get it wrong this time.

    3. Micheal kidd Giltrist= The Wizards will fall in love with his heart and attitude, he will fit in great with Wall.

4.Harrison Barnes= I believe he will be selected by the cavs over Bradley Beal.

    5. Andre Drummond= The kings have always loved drafting by potential, no matter the attitude for example Cousins , Evans, Jimmer. Plus they are logjamed in the backcourt so they wont choose Beal or Lillard.

    My top five picks are:

    1. New Orleans Hornets – Anthony Davis – No brainer

    2. Charlotte Bobcats – Harrison Barnes – Charlotte had the league’s worst offense last year, and Barnes should bring an NBA ready offensive game. Plus they have Kemba, Henderson, Biyombo, and Mullens, so their biggest weakness is SF. Barnes fills an offensive need, positional need, and on top of that is a local product.

    3. Washington Wizards – Brad Beal – If I had to guess Washington would go after a SG here. They just got Vesely and Singleton so they don’t need to add another forward to the mix right away. (MKG is somewhat similar to Singleton.) Washington has a solid frontcourt to build on, but only has Wall and Crawford in the backcourt. Beal makes more sense than MKG or Robinson in my opinion.

    4. Cleveland Cavaliers – Michael Kidd-Gilchrist – Cleveland probably wouldn’t take Robinson here because they already have Thompson, so it’s basically down to Drummond or MKG. Both would fit in well. Drummond could develop alongside Kyrie and potentially give Cleveland two superstars instead of one back in the LBJ days. MKG is a safer pick though, and was high school teammates with Kyrie. Can’t go wrong either way.

    5. Sacramento Kings – Thomas Robinson – Again, this pick is up in the air between Drummond / Robinson. I have a hard time seeing Drummond developing to his full potential alongside Cousins, but I think Robinson would fit in nicely.

The #2 pick basically changes the rest of the draft, so it’s important for us nbadraft.net users to get it right.

     1st- Davis

2nd- Barnes or Robinson (MJ gives edge to Barnes)

3rd- MKG (WAS infatuated w/ him)

4th- Beal or Drummond (MKG probably will be gone; gives edge to Beal over Barnes; intrigued w/ Drummond)

5th- Robinson or Barnes (if CHA doesn’t pick Robinson; he’ll fall to #5; same as Barnes)

    1 – Davis –  No brainer

2 – Barnes – I think Mj really likes him and I think he will be a better NBA player than college. His combine numbers are what give him the edge to MKG and Robinson in a tough call.

3 – MKG – Might not have the talent of a top 3 pick but has the perfect mentality for the game. One of the hardest working players to come out recently, WAS needs a player with his competitivenss bady. Perfect fit.

4 – Beal – One of my fav players in this draft, should set up the Cavs backcourt for years to come. Will really benefit from playing with Kyrie.

5 – Drummond – The only reason I think they will take Drummond over Robinson is that they will be drooling at the frontline of Drummond and Cousins, if Drummond reaches anywhere near his potential. They also compliment eachother perfectly.

Is that most of these franchises in the lottery will stay in the lottery during next years draft and because next years draft includes some pretty big names as well like Nerlens Noel, Cody Zeller and Shabazz Muhammed, some of the most desperate franchises may choose to draft a prospect who won’t make the immediate impact but will grow and grow faster than others a little bit like James Harden’s impact or Paul George’s impact, just so that they can increase their odds of drafting one of the top 5 guys from next years draft. But Can you imagine if New Orleans drafts Anthony Davis this year and through some luck they don’t improve their record by too much and draft nerlens noel the year after! What a frontcourt! Anthony Davis at PF and Nerlens Noel at Center. That’s like pairing Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard early in their careers! But I think regardless of the Pick the Bobcats will stay stuck in the top 5 next year too. I think that they will invest in a Harrison Barnes now to improve offence and next year if their luck falls, that they draft a center likes nerlens or steven adams. The wizards to be honest will not greatly improve their record greatly and I hope they draft someone like Michael Gilchrist who will help them in the long run with his work ethic and also so that they get a chance to draft a frontcourt player in 2013. The cavs are going to have a breakout season this upcoming year and I actually see them making the playoffs in the weak east conference… But I’m basing this on the notion that they draft a 3 point ace in bradley beal.

^^^ thats actually a great point. Some teams will be playing Chess while other checkers. It can back fire if a player doesn’t come out or doesn’t perform well but chances are high that that that won’t happen

Good point Tiberius – you may be giving some GMs too much credit though.  Anyway, my top 5 are:

    1. Anthony Davis – duh.

    2. Harrison Barnes – tie goes to the Tar Heel.

    3. Bradley Beal – I think in the end Washington will decide he fills a bigger need and offers more upside.

    4. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist – They’d rather have Beal or Barnes, but will ‘settle’ for MKG.

    5. Thomas Robinson – The Kings might take Drummond over Beal, but not MKG or Robinson.
