Memphis MadnessParticipantI agree with most of those. But, if Bismack goes outside the lottery then I don’t think he is overrated. He would be fairly rated between 15 and 25. On the 8th, I had him at 22 (before the Nike Hoops Summit Game).
There are a lot of intriguing players in the second round. I have Macklin going 53 but I feel he can go higher.
I have Jamie Skeen going 38, not sure if that is too high or about right. I think both show promise.
Terrance Jones might be slightly overrated if he goes in the top 8 or 9. I think he should go between 10 and 20. If he goes there then he is a good pick and perhaps a great pick. Looks like he could be a Jeff Green type (maybe more athletic) who can play some stretch four, but ideally a small forward and would be a perfect sixth man. Not a first or second option, and maybe not the third option, but he should be a good fourth or fifth option on offense, but I think he is a guy you can run clutch plays for with his size, speed, length and outside touch.
Not sure about Kawhi Leonard, since I didn’t watch enough San Diego State games. If he can be the next Gerald Wallace then he is fairly rated here. If he is more of a Damarre Carroll type then he is overrated and looks more like a 20-30 pick at the end of the first round.
I agree with you on Perry Jones. Lots of upside, especially if he can be a match up nightmare at the small forward position.
Chandler Parsons could be a good sleeper pick in the second round. He can do some of everything. At best, he could be like Toni Kukoc, at worst, a solid 9th or 10th guy who can stretch the defense and use his length to play the passing lanes and get some rebounds.
If Jeremy Lamb comes out then I have him as a top 2 or 3 shooting guard prospect with tons of upside, plus a little bit of bust potential if he doesn’t work hard on his game at the next level.
If Matt Howard gets drafted late in the second round I think he has good upside from that stand point. He can hustle and lead, if not rebound and hit a three pointer. He doesn’t mind getting floor burns and should be a GREAT practice guy who will push the starters to the limit. He can rebound and bang some at the four spot, and he can spot up and hit outside shots at the three spot. He’s played pretty clutch too. He might be one of the most NBA ready guys who is projected to be picked in the second half of the second round (if at all). Shoud be a good player off the deep end of the bench (10-12). Upside: Shane Battier. Downside: Shane Battier 3 years from now.

Da1potParticipantBest Prospect- Kyrie Irving
Best PG- Kyrie Irving
Best SG- Alec Burks
Best SF- If he enters Harrison Barnes, but otherwise Terrence Jones
Bet PF- Derrick Williams( he will be a stretch four like Antawn Jamsion who can play on the perimeter but still do damage inside). If he can hold his own rebounding wise, I would much rather him be a power forward.
Best C- Enes Kanter
Best International- Enes Kanter if he counts, Valanciunas second
Most Underrated- Jordan Williams( He will be a stud if he can stay in shape and not become the next Shawn May or Eddy Curry)
Most Overrated- Bismack Biyambo
Most NBA Ready-Kemba Walker
Least NBA Ready-Jereme Richmond
Most Potential- Perry Jones
Most Likely To Bust( lol at the title)- Perry Jones and Bismack Biyombo
Best Offensive-Jimmer Fredette
Best Defensive- Chris Singleton( he can be a shutdown type at the next level even if his offensive game doesn’t translate well)
Best Athlete-Perry Jones
Smartest Player-Nolan Smith
Dumbest Player-Jereme Richmond( for entering at all…..lol)
