NCarmean18ParticipantThe Jazz have let it be known that their intensions are to draft Enes Kanter with the 3rd overall pick. This is where many had the Jazz drafting Brandon Knight, because of his ability to play at a high level, and play both guard positions. With Enes Kanter coming in, that means that Brandon Knight will fall. Cleveland won’t take him with the 4th pick because they already drafted Kyrie Irving, and unless Cleveland trades that pick, I see Knight slipping. Toronto really likes Kemba Walker, and I think they will choose him over Knight. The Wizards don’t want a back up point guard this early, and unless they can see him playing the 2, they will use this pick on a big. With all of this controversy, it ends when the Sacremento Kings select Knight with the 7th overall pick. This is originally where I had the Jimmer going, who I now have falling to the 12th pick, to the Jazz. The Jazz win in the end, getting a solid big, as well as a potential future point guard, but they mess everyone else’s draft up after they take Kanter.

WizardofOzParticipantNo way Knight slips past #5. I heard that Toronto isn’t even interested in Kemba. The Raptors supposedly have a mancrush on Knight. If Utah doesn’t take him (and they still might), the Raptors will take him.

NYFLAVA2K9ParticipantI think Utah might be posturing at this point to put pressure on Cleveland not to take Irving, or the two might end up swapping picks at 3 and 4.

TheLastWordParticipantThere is a good chance Kemba or Jimmer is there at 12 and they like both of them a lot. I never bought Knight at #3 for the Jazz. It was carried over from before the lottery when the Jazz were at 6.
