Chilbert arenasParticipantBrandon Jennings was working out with former Duke star Jay Williams today at LMU’s rec center today. I’m not a Duke fan but I have the upmost respect for Williams as a player and a person and I think this could be good for Jennings in both these aspects. Any thoughts?

NJHooper95ParticipantI like it. Jay Will was a great player, but he is an even better person. I think working out with Jay Will, Brandon will help his mental more than his physical game. Jay Will is only a shell of the player he use to be, but his demeanor, IQ, and will to win can rub off on Jennings. Lets keep it real, Jay is probably the best collegiate pg we have seen in the last 15 years, so there is a respect factor there on Jennings part.

Bmore_DCParticipantI love hearing about current players working out with former players…Jay Will is going to be a coach someday…he has a deeper love for the game since the accident…and his passion was NEVER questioned before…i also liked hearing about Dwight working with The Dream

theTKOshowParticipantI read an article about this on espn, they were talking about how jennings has an intership at under armour headquarters and been training with J Will and a strengthening coach. I think this is grreat for him, the article said he really has improved his strength which is great since thats been considered a huge weakness of his. I think itll make him a better defender, better finisher at the rim and also the season will not wear him down as much. J Will is also a different player than Jennings so he’ll have the opportunity to add new aspects to his game.
As for J Will, glad to hear hes still involved in the game, a great talent at Duke and his short nba career before the motorcycle accident. as much as i love watching derrick rose, it hurts as a duke fan to know that it should be J Will dismantling the opponents defenses.
