Jennings & Scott Skiles are going to have problems. No way Jennigs starts if Sessions is resigned. Even if Sessions leaves Jennigns will still split time with Ridnour. Jennings is tiny, he will struggle as a rookie against other elite nba starting PGs. The Bucks are awful…they are headed back to the lottery with a top 5 pick in the 2010 draft. Alexander has looked awful so far in summer league…bust. Moute is descent but he isn’t a starting caliber SF. He is stickly a quality backup. The Bucks have no good PF.

Brandon Jennings is going to be a great player offensively. Defensively he will have good steals numbers, but he will get posted up and drove on by the better PG’s in the league until he gains strength. I think he will be the best rookie PG though. Jennings and Ridnour would make them the worst defensive group of PG’s in the NBA if Sessions doesnt resign

ive been watching the Bucks summer league games, so i can watch Jodie Meeks. While I see the flashes of potential with Jennings he has def not destroyed the Summer League. His only decent game was his 2nd one and all he was doing was throwing up shots and not truly trying to find the open player for a easier basket. While its still to early to tell in this summer league and the fact that right now Joe Alexander makes anyone around him look like future hall-of-famers (hes been terrible) I still have to see more from him as a decision maker.

naw if sessions is there he doesnt start..hes not too small though at 6’2 plus hes very very good….i cant say alexander is a bust because hes only in his second year so thats laughable…jennings will take his lumps on defense just like ever other rookie pg but he will also give them..he is a future star but wont be ( my opinion) right away….and he hasnt been destroying ..his first game wasnt that great but his second game was very good..on top of scoring 23 he also had 7 or 8 assists which could have been more with some of his teammates missing some open shots

Gatorhills. When he got drafted I was wondering if the GM remembered who the coach was. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jennings didn’t get any playing time at all this year, unless Skiles was fired. Skiles will hate him. Jennings is the anti-Skiles. A me first point guard. Even if the Bucks don’t keep Sessions, Skiles will probably make sure they find another veteran to play ahead of Jennings. Worst case scenario he’ll move Dan Gadzuric to point guard just to keep him off the floor.

By the way, Redd is purely a shooter. He doesn’t do anything else and he is probably unable to do much with his body failing the way it has the last few years. Cleveland was pursuing him hard a few years ago when he was a free agent, but I don’t think he would have ever pushed them over the hump.

To brazenbige, all the guys you mentioned haven’t done anything under any of their coaches. So maybe it was the players. Tyrus has played under 3 coaches and hasn’t put anything together. D’Antoni didn’t even want Curry to play for him when he got healthy. Tyson is essentially the same player he was when he left for Chicago. He had one good rejuvenated year and then back to the same so so game. I’m still waiting for the people that called Alexander the next Shawn Marion to pop their heads out of hiding and make the same statement today. Skiles is a good coach, he’s just really wears on players with his demanding style after awhile, like Larry Brown. Most guys in the NBA are too babied to handle it.

Jennings has been playing alright. I will not say lights out. Alexander looks like he could be a decent role player with time. He is not a key player right now but he is still young and very athletic. There are lots of free agents out there and Bucks may grab some on the cheap. Also that European player that have rights too is coming back. He can play the 3 or 4. They may add Gooden for like 2 milion and with that they will have a decent line if healthy. I think Sessions will resign but he can play 2 positions so Jennings should get maybe 15 minutes a game or he could become like Bayless. Jennings can pass though, Bayless was not that good in that area.

They may not pick up Gooden I forgot that Amir Johnson should be there but that should mean that Bogut if healthy will get a lot of touches offensively while Johnson does the dirty work. They do need a quality 3 though. Any suggestions?

I don’t think Amir is anything special. I wouldn’t want him starting at PF that is for sure.

Bucks should sign Sean May for cheap. They should also try to get Big Baby. A sign & trade with the Celtics could be an option.

Josh Childress is who they need to get at SF.

bayless improved in jennings isnt the next iverson as a rookie iverson was the clear cut rookie of the year iverson is a mvp got the 76rs{wooow} to the finals n battled the lAKERS …iverson will go down in history the best player his size

joe alexander is a bum……he was a top 10 pick n a strong draft your fooling ur self if u say joe will compete with the likes of carmello, granger, thorton, beasley.lebron, hedo, petruis,t young, g wallace,da matrix, josh smith, caron butler, ron artest ,richard jefferson,ak 47

small fowards in this league are no joke n hes struglling extra hard against fowards who may not ever make the nba

he has alot to live up to and he wont….. he once was projected to go between 20 and 30….bucks passed up to many gud player for him that early in the draft

and i wasnt jenning to do gud but i doubt he will be rookie of the year he needs to find his game

he played in europe….hes soft…even tho hes fast…mentality he cant keep up with the speed of the nba..he looks lost on both end of the floor he…doesnt set team mates up…doesnt run the pick n roll alot..he juss takes bad shots

Beaubois killed brandon and is playing better then him as of now …teams wishing they would of drafted him last year or showed some kind of intrest in him….n brandon wont start over ridnour or ramon to evevn be considered rookie of the year

stop reading website n looking at highlights n really watch games to see wat your talking bout

n i like brandon but he needs to relax n find his game because as of now n next season he wont live up to the hype if bayless didnt get playing time his rookie year or baron davis get pt his rookie year wat makes u think brandon will start n kill the league??

i watched both of jennings games and the first game wasnt too good but he did his think the second game..he didnt look lost on defense man to man or jumping into the passing lanes and getting 5 steal..you seem to be the only one that thinks that after game 2 even though the announcers as well as fans think hes gonna be a special player when he matures more because he clearly has the talent..as far as playing in europe and being soft ..how about you play over there first before you make a judgement..the refs call nothing over there..a flagrant foul might not even be called a regular foul and elbows above the head are the norm…dont judge it by some of the soft euros that come over to the nba because most of them that are still playing there arent soft…nba is more talented but is now a softer league…you are liable to get batteries thrown at you during or after the games and well as getting closed lined during the games.

i seen him play 2 of his 3 games

his last game was gud..ok 1 game wooow

and come on hes got poteinal he can play ball he was drafted in the lottery hes suppose to be gud…..hes a point gaurd hes suppose to get ast

so if get got 7 assit 1 game in turnd it over 6 times thats gud ???

come on hes lost…… i seen him get beat man to man 2 differnt games

and hes team defense…does he even play it ?….on offense after he paases the ball he walks around doesnt cut or anything he juss stays in the corner and waits for the ball to get paassed back out or stays there to shoot the 3

that he will most likely miss lol

the pg off the bucks bench plays with a higher intensity

and i cant talk much about the …24pts 8reb and 7 ast h scored i didnt watch that game

but if your throwing up shots every chance you get off course you will get your numbers..

and coming from the 8 rebounds and 7 steals i geuss that game he was every where..thats a gud thing.

and the euro games is soft……every european player has to adapt to the physical,,athletic game of the nba

thats why the nba is the best league in the world

give me 3 roster of a european team???/ dont google it write em off the head

now give me 3 roster of an nba team…..yeah u can do that

ppl in all countrys watch the nba we have the best ballers

    euro game is soft

if we don call fragrent fouls as much as we do in america everry game a be a piston pacer brawl
the nba would be like hockey but worse

these guys come from adversity,,,struggles,,,,city with high murder rates in there in the mix….most want the up most respect

so there would be way more fights if we called less flagrents and had less punishments

euro is soft..wat is he talking bout lol

im talking from experience because i play pro basketball in europe so i dont need to google it i talk from experience ..youre talking out of the side of youre mouth from……actually i dont know what you are talking from because no player that plays over there would tell you that the game is soft over there so obviously you dont know what the hell you are talking about youre just guessing….but back to jennings..you say you didnt watch the 2nd game yet you said if you throwing up every shot…how about you watch before talking yet again..he shot 7-18 and in game 3 he had 14ast and 7 steals…now back again to the euro game…nba players have to adjust once they go over there also..why do you think you dont see josh childress averaging 20 points and dominating…why do you think he said it was more physical over there then in the nba even though the nba is more talented. so please dont mention anything about the euro game which you clearly have shown you know nothing about.

WOW…now ive only played one year over in germany but i can tell you this..the euro game is not soft..you ask any guy that has played there or any nba that has played over there. you have to adjust to the game and the rules while over there..why do you think the u.s.a can no longer just send any team to the olympics?..the rules and the game is alot different..just like it takes euros awhile to adjust to the nba game it takes nba players awhile to adjust to the euro game. the big misconception with americans is that its easy over there and is soft. yes the talent isnt as good because the players arent as athletic but they make up for it with using there mind more. thhere have been a couple of players who actually played in the nba then went overseas and got cut from the team because they couldnt cut it or perform. it takes a certain kind of player to play over there..shooters tend to succeed over there but those who are just athletic and score mostly from drives or are one on one players tend to not do so well and get cut.

but we got more medals for a reason

the nba style of play is the best

and the only teams that give the usa national team a run is teams with forign nba players, yao ming.scola,Sarunas Jasikevicius,,carlos delfino, pau gasol, marc gasol,Juan Navarro.

not to be rude but ur not currently in the nba for a reason….u was tuff enuff to play over seas….. but not tuff enough to make a nba team???.

Please, China is a joke even with Yao on that team. I believe Josh mentioned that the NBA has a higher TALENT level, but that the Euro game is more team based and physical, which I think is a pretty good assessment. The U.S. has more medals because they have more talent, and because they generally know how to put it together better, with the striking exception being the 2004 Olympics where we got beat by Argentina, Lithuania and Greece if I’m not mistaken. It doesn’t take a team with foreign NBA players to beat the U.S., Lithuania did it with 1 current NBA player (Kleiza) and Greece did it with 0 current NBA players.

are you thinking before you write or even reading…what does tough have to do with talent..like i said before the nba is more talented whos arguing that? youre getting being tough and being talented confused.yea the nba won the medal and they have to send there best players to do it..they cant just send regular players any more or just a basic all star team. the point i made already to show that you are wrong is that the euro game isnt soft…you probably should stop now and stick to the nba talk since you obviously dont know anything about the euro game other then the olympics so its pointless from me to talk any further with you about anything pertaining to europe and basketball

I DONT KNO MUCH ABOUT THE EURO GAME I JUSS GOING OFF THE PLAYERS THATS IN THE NBA AND THE olympics where the “best of the best play ”

you act like your a scout give me like i said before

3 euro rosters without googleing any

you cant when the last time you fly out of the states to see a euro game “in person”

never… if u was scout you wouldnt be on the site tryig to feel important you would be at the summer league or getting this money by scouting for a pro team.

and toughness has alot to do with performance if your dont have a no non sense mentality you wont mak it in anything in life..from what i see most these euro players get demolished in the nba ….dragic was suppose to be the steve nash succor……sun yue chinesse “magic johnson”….ante tomic

just did some research the 5th player picked the year amere came to the league

    Nickoloz Tskitishvili who is he?

    anybody know

well this is going to be the way i think about euro untill i watch some more euro games this season on nba tv

but as of now i could care less because alot of euro players arent that tough..of course they have skill but they would “shine in the nba” if it only was about “skill”

thats why most international players in the nba arent from the same place because it rare to find player can keep up with the american born players n there rugged style of play

just my thoughts im doe in this thread

i think griffin will be rookie of the year if not injured

i shake my head at whoever says brandon will be
