With the trade that took place between the Wizards and Hornets is it now safe to say the Wizards have just locked up Beal at the SG spot?

I’d say most likely. Then again no one really knows for sure, all we can do is guess

Why would it be Robinson if they have the bigs already….The Wizards lack a SG that will help Wall because Crawford’s just not doing it.

I’d say so.. Not only is their front court pretty solid right now, but they need players that can shoot the ball.

At 3, Beal seems like a perfect fit for the Wizards

I would agree because Crawford is streaky.

Problem is, he might be gone by 3.

What this trade does is eliminate TRob and MKG as potential picks. It leaves Beal and Barnes, either the one that’s left or Beal in case they’re both available..

If Beal is gone, Ariza can easily slide over to SG and let Barnes be the starting SF.

There is no possible way Beal would go #2, it’s in the air between 3 guys….Barnes Robinson Drummond.

     PG Wall

    SG Beal/Crawford

    SF Ariza/Vesely

    PF Nene/Okafor&vesely

    C Okafor/Nene/Seraphim

They need a Backup PG, but this team paired with a good coach could reach the playoffs.

They still have Shelvin Mack but they def need a vet pg, im not too sure what Blatche’s value is right now, im gonna say very low but maybe could trade for a vet pg

SLAM Online reports that the Bobcat’s pick is in the air between Beal Barnes and TRob…

So he is still being considered and you can’t rule out the possibility of him being gone by the time the Wizards pick..

The problem with that is SLAM actually has no clue like the rest of us. They can only guess since teams aren’t letting anyone know who they really want since for the most part they don’t know. You can make a good guess by seeing who they bring in for a workout.

Looks pretty locked in to me. Would’ve loved seeing him run with Kyrie and thee Cavs but Wall and the Wiz are a pretty good consolation prize

If the Wizards grab Beal would crawford be out then? I would love for my wolves to grab him from the wizards somehow.. He’s been one of my favorite players since his days at Xavier and they are in desperate need of someone who can create even a little on the outside.. I thought when the Wizards got rid of Nick Young they were giving Crawford a tryout, are they ready to quit on him this early?

I’m not a dedicated follower of the Wizards can anyone fill me in here, I would appreciate it.

Maybe the Bobcats are the real winner of this trade….Everyone knows the Bobcats want to trade down and this trade may entice teams that really want Beal to make a trade with the Bobcats….

Beal could go #2 to Charlotte.

Bobcats need a sure thing and Beal is a better bet than Barnes or Gilchrist.

MJ scares me with the Bobcats pick…I won’t feel safe that Beal will be a Wizard until draft day

i like Beal both as a person and as a player..he impressed me by being two way player with his rebounding unselfisnes not only scoring but still..i don’t understand why he looks like top3 lock..

@theMOSTHATEDone wow, I’m gonna love making an Association with that team in 2k13.

@river09 in my opinion, I think they should still keep him and put him in a JR Smith-type role, unless they can get a good back up PG in exchange for him. Maybe they could make a deal to take Dragic from Houston so they can settle the battle between him and Lowry

I had Brad Beal going to the Wizards even before the trade, and this just makes it all the more likely.

There were no PG prospects to go after, and obviously Washington didn’t need one. You could make the case for going after Drummond, but they already have Nene. Then there’s Barnes or MKG, but they already had Singleton and Vesely. It was really between Robinson and Beal the whole time in my mind. The main difference is Washington has Booker and Blatche at PF, so Robinson would just add to the PF logjam. Washington basically only has two guards in Wall and Crawford. Now with this trade it definitely makes sense to go after Beal assuming he doesn’t go #2.

if Jordan play mind games and take Beal then the Wizards should have non of that and just draft Barnes, he also a good shooter!
