Someone made a list for the top 10.

Well here is my list for the bottom 10 players with low basketball IQ: for some reason there are a lot of big men on the list.

    Eddy Curry

    Kwame Brown

    Michael Beasley

    Brenden Haywood

    Disagna Diop

    Gerald Green

    Andris Biedrins

    Darius Miles

    Bismack Biombo

    Darko Milicic

    Any others?

Half of these players aren’t even in the NBA

But BJ Mullens has an ugly basketball IQ. Everytime he’s on court he shoots sloppy midrange jumpers and does stupid things on the defensive end

College: Roscoe Smith. His fullcourt buzzer beater with 11 seconds left against Texas last year was the defintion of low basketball IQ.

When I saw this title I immediately said to myself "Josh Smith" but he’s not too bad

Andre Blatche – he seems to set screens really poorly and take just the most riduculous shots.

(Old) Travis Outlaw – "Get open? When I jump, I’m always open."

I wouldnt say the guys on your list lack basketball IQ..Becuz if they didnt have it,they wouldnt be playing at the highest level..Most of their problems lays in lack of motivation, laziness and poor decision making…I believe if Eddy Curry had applied himself ,he could’ve been another Bob Lanier…Imagine if Eddy Curry had Tyson Chandler’s heart and Chandler had his skill set?

JR Smith doesnt have an in between game, he’s either dunking or shooting a 3 pointer…He’s been in the nba af few yeras now and still havent learn any perimeter skills, nor does he seem interesting in adding to his already predictable game..NOW THATS A LOW BASKETBALL IQ….lol

If he had any Basketball IQ, he’d realize that he is nowhere near the NBA level.

Disagree that Sasha has a low BBall IQ. It’s not the greatest, but it’s not what I would call low. He was often found as a vocal player helping lead others less knowledgable about the tri to the spots they were supposed to go. A player that can do that doesn’t have a low BBALL IQ IMO. It’s not the best, but not the worst either. Shannon Brown has a horrid BBall IQ though, he couldn’t even stick to the things in the tri that were working for him. DJ Strawberry, Renaldo Balkman, Hassan Adams, and Demarre Carroll are players with lower BBALL IQ’s IMO.

Jordan Crawford. I saw 15 minutes of him in Wahsington and that was enough. Takes waaaay to many bad shots, he really does think he’s MJ, lol.

^ the thing with JC is that hes really confident (which can be a bad thing)….

which will lead to his bad shots…

    he took to many 3’s

Didn’t see enough of Crawford in the pro’s last year to make an honest judgement, but I know he definitely made bad decisions with the ball in college and has always been overly confident in his jumper. But to be fair, I have all the faith in the world in him becoming a 40% 3pt shooter at some point. Not quite Jordan, but a trash man’s Gilbert Arenas.

In my opinion basketball IQ relates to thigs like shot selection, positioning, emotions, court awareness, understanding how many fouls everyone has, how much time is on the clock (or shotclock).

Nick Young seems like an obvious one. Demarcus Cousins should also be on this list. Also Leandro Barbosa maybe a guy who most people would not think to add but his mind is always in one mode…score mode.

Some guys like Benoit Benjamin were never interested in playing ball..People talked them into becuz of their height advantage over kids their age….And some lack understanding on how to play the game, becuz their coaches only wanted them to focus on thing..If he’s 7 feet, a coach might want him to use his body and intiminate opponents on defense or may it be blocking shots or just go out there and get rebounds….

Wizards had many candidates, crawford never stops shooting, even when he’s 3/15 down 25 in the 1st half, that’s OK(the guy as a starter was 6th in the league in FGA per game).

Many PF in my mind, from hickson to charlie V, bargnani, blatche, big baby and others.

    Ariza, jennings, dorell wright…
