Did anybody see the video of the guy from Boston College being asked what was his best memory from the season and him crying and saying going out to eat.  Both basketball and football teams went winless in the conference.  I think I saw that hasn’t happened in like decades.  Boston College used to be beasting with Craig Smith and Jared Dudley in 2006 and Tyrese Rice in 2009.  It’s obvious that once proud program needs a complete makeover…

So their Athletic Director is the same guy who DESTROYED Miami University’s football and basketball programs for the benefit of hockey and non-revenue sports. BC apparently brought him in to duplicate his non-revenue success.

Not sure and don’t really care about how BC’s non-revenue sports are doing, but he has certainly duplicated his football and basketball results from the dumpster fire he left behind in Oxford, OH. I feel bad for the athletes in Boston, but I’m not sure what BC administration expected…he has duplicated at BC what he did at Miami.

As a Miami alum, we were talking about firing the guy and how much his buyout would be, then he ended up getting hired away into a P5 athletic department.

To your point, that press conference was tough to watch. Those young men put a ton of work into their sport and to see those results is gut wrenching.

Last Sunday’s game was the fifth I’ve been to this season. Aside from the Duke game, which was at least 75% Duke fans, the fan turnout was horrible.  The student section is a joke, the crowd is primarily older alumni and their families, and no one shows any emotion.  The football team draws decent crowds, but that’s college football and a different animal. Both their men’s and women’s hockey teams are among the best in country, but even for a hockey city the crowds are far from sellouts. The athletic department is in need of a major overhaul and I hope having a player say that food poisoning was more memorable than playing basketball there will be the catalyst for it.
