llperezlakers bigs have been incredible and won this game. Both teams were unimpressive offensivley though.

IndianaBasketballParticipantKobe missed damn near every clutch shot tonight. Pau and Bynum bailed him out.

Were you basically talking to yourself the entire game? Lmao, joking
Yeah, the Lakers length really won this game. From tips to offensive boards to that final block, it easy to see why the Lakers don’t want to trade both Gasol and Bynum. Especially after losing Odom.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThe lack of depth for the Lakers is going to hurt them in the post-season.
When Matt Barnes scores more points than Fisher, MWP, and three other bench players combined, you know you have a problem. Especially when he only scored 11 points.

PAUL125Participantsmh kobe always gets saved by his teamates… thats the reason no one remembers all his missed shots in the clutch. Dont get me wrong Kobe’s a great player but hes overated in clutch situations.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI wouldn’t call him overrated, but he surely has been underwhelming lately.

bobbybParticipantplayoff type game… And there are people who want to trade Gasol???? 25 and 14 , and a huge block on Ray Allen to seal the game.

Do you think the Lakers can win it all with this current roster or do they need to make some moves?
Personally, I think they can win it all if Bynum and Gasol are consistent and Kobe is Kobe.
What do you think about Arenas, Sessions, of Flynn?

0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/09/2012 - 6:28pm #634193

llperezthey defenitely have a chance to win it all. In a 7 game series they can lock down and if enough guys can shoot even a decent percentage they have a chance. I would love to see how arenas looks but the fact no one has signed him yet makes me question him. Im not panicking partly because every team in the league has had ups and downs. I dont know, well see. Kobe has had some rough stretches recently including tonight and vs philly after playing brilliant for the majority of the game he goes cold for a awhile. That hurts becasue they force the ball through him so much.
But whatever, lakers will get it together. I wish we could play boston over and over, they play like us, old and slow except dont rebound well.

aamir543ParticipantKobe is still great, but he needs to realize that the key to victory is Bynum and Pau, and they saved the Lakers today.
The length of the Lakers really scares me, they will be dangerous but their lack of depth will kill them in this mumble jumble of a season.
