RUN TMCParticipantWith T.Ross going off for 51 the other night, how expendable is Derozen? And if Rondo is still possibly on the block….
Derozen
Lowry – UFA
Hansbrough
for
Rondo and Green
Raps get a PG and minutes to help the young core(Ross, JV) and Celts get a possible Allstar caliber player and possible cap space. Hansbrough is a throw in to make salaries work.
Does this work? Is either team sending to much/not enough?

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWhy can’t they play DeRozan at the 3 and Ross at the 2?

ElPananderoParticipantI thought since the Rudy Gay trade they’d both been starting…and Demar has been putting up like 20 a game and proven to be a better passer and has mid-range game. Let’s not forget one time Brandon Jennings had a 54 point game and noone wants him to be their centerpiece. One game isn’t enough to trade your best player just yet.
That being said, I love demar and the celtics are my home team, so this is cool with me.

SamCarlsonParticipantI agree that they can both start. The combo of Ross and Derozan is still super young and they should both still get bigger and stronger and have enough size and more than enough athleticism to hold down the wing for the Raps moving forward. I really don’t understand why people want to break up this core for the raptors? They have those two with great potential and a super young core moving forward with a lot of talent. They have to continue to develop j val so he can be a force down low. I also think they should try their best to re sign Lowry. I do not get the motivation on either side. He has played great for them this year and they are the first team to really give him the reigns so I think he would be happy with the situation. I sort of put the raptors right along with the wizards as a team that has a lot of potential and young talent and are one great move away from being a contender in the coming years.
