TyroberParticipantI am very bored at work and figured I would come up with a few trade ideas. These probably wont ever happen, but its just fun to be creative
1. Portland Sends/ Nets Receive: Andre Miller, Rudy Fernandez, Luke Babbitt, + cash
Nets Send/ Portland Receive: Devin Harris2. Chicago Sends/Nuggets Receive: Loul Deng, Taj Gibson, James Johnson, 2 future 1sts, future 2nd, and cash
Chicago Receive/Nuggets Send: Carmelo Anthony3. Portland Sends/ Nuggets Receive: Marcus Camby, Rudy Fernandez, Nic Batum, Jerryd Bayless, cash
Portland Receive/Nuggets Send: Carmelo Anthonyto go even crazier in this lets include Greg Oden and Billups. basically if your going to trade Anthony there is absolutely no need to keep Billups. Let Millers, Smiths, and Nenes contract expire and rebuild
4. Portland Sends/ Nuggets Receive: Marcus Camby, Greg Oden, Rudy Fernandez, Nic Batum, cash
Portland Receive/Nuggets Send: Billups, Carmelo5. Thunder Send/Lakers Receive: Morris Petterson
Thunder Receive/Lakers Send: Luke Walton, and Derek Caracter
(seems silly to some people to give up Caracter but they save 10 million dollars of salary, not to mention luxary tax, for trading Walton for an ending contract.0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/20/2010 - 4:28pm #404585

Mr. 19134ParticipantI would like to see Anthony got to the Nets for Favors and Harris. And I don’t think Portland would give all that up for Devin Harris or trade Gred Oden after they put all this time into his rehabilitation efforts. And if the Thunder have no need for Derrick Character or Luke Walton.

TyroberParticipantI agree. I do not think the Blazers should trade Oden but if they can get back Billups and Anthony? A starting lineup of Billups, Roy, Anthony, Aldridge, and Pryzbilla? That would be a sick sick sick team.
i like Melo to the nets but would Melo sign an extension if they took Harris as well? I have saw reports of where a trading involving Favors, Murphy, and a future first for melo

flybobbyflyParticipantwho is portlans big 3?
are you talking about their 3 centers? oden pryzbilla and camby?
oden aldridge and roy?
miller aldridge and roy?
i would say that both miller and camby are pretty big parts of that team. bigger than oden who rarely ever plays.0 - Posted on: Tue, 09/21/2010 - 5:52am #404703
joecheck88Participantits hard to give up on top 2 picks. i mean kwame brown and darko are still in the league. oden will always have a nba contract, and he will be in portland for the next atleast 5 years. even now at worst he is slightly better than pryzbilla, who is a good center. i think billups in portland is better than miller. maybe trade miller, przbilla(i think both r expiring) plus lets say a pick for billups could make portland a super dangerous team in the playoffs.
starting/bench
pg- billups/bayless
sg-roy/fernandez
sf-batum/babbitt
pf-aldridge/camby/cunningham
c-oden/camby0 - Posted on: Tue, 09/21/2010 - 8:03am #404735

Mr. 19134ParticipantI think Troy Murphy would help win as many games as Devin Harris. Murphy can get you 17 points and 11 rebounds. Harris was an All stay fluke who averaged 13 points hi career. Last season looked more like the Devin Harris the Nets will get 16 points shooting 43% and 5 assists. I’d rather start Jordan Famar
Famar
T-WIll
Melo
Murphy
Lopez
with Outlaw off the bench is a nice starting 5 to me with a versatile 6th man. Thats good for like a 4 seed in the East this year with potential growth0 - AuthorPosts
