jonus grumbyParticipantnot my idea and I would be surprised if Portland was that crazy. But let’s just for the sake of argument say that Portland would take Boozer off our hands. What else would the Bulls have to add to get the deal done? Would Boozer + Mirotic get it done? Boozer + Charlotte pick? Boozer + Butler + Mirotic? Boozer + Butler + Charlotte pick? Going with Boozer to Portland because that is the headline and adding Mirotic or Charlotte pick because that is what was in the article. I added Butler because even I am not crazy enough to think Portland would go for just one of the two and I sure don’t think Chicago would give up both.

RickSlickCHIParticipantThe Bulls had the eyes on signing LBJ. They had so much cap space. But when that deal went south they just signed Boozer to a crazy 5 year/75 million deal and signed a bunch of role players which have totally changed.. And you also have to add Thibs was just hired so, he really didn’t have any say so,on getting a player who fits his system. We Bulls fans soon found out we was stuck. It’s not that Boozer isn’t a good player, it’s just the fact he doesn’t fit Thibs system well, and no ones want that contract. So all the Bulls can do is patiently wait till that outstanding contact is ending. I hope they will hold on to that first round pick and the overseas MVP. If the Bulls would of had Thibs in rotation, I feel the Boozer deal wouldn’t of went down or at least not for that crazy contract.
