OhCanada-ParticipantSeems like he is this year Jae Crowder, PJ Tucker, Draymond Green, DeMarre Carroll type tweener/hybrid player that could end up carving out a decent career as a valuable role player.
Colson plays PF for Notre Dame. While he is only 6’5 his wingspan seems to be well over 7 feet and his weight seems to be at least 230 pounds. He does show the abillity to gaurd anyone at the college level and it might not be right away but as time goes on I think that could be his calling card as a pro. Being a versatile defender that can be used like a swiss army knife.
Offensively Bonzie added alot to his game this year. He can score in the post but has recently added range extending to the 3 point line. He finishes well at the rim with runners and floaters which he used with good coordination that is uncharacteristic of players with his size and wingspan.
He may not immediately impact the NBA but I think this is a guy that would actually be a great player to draft and stash believe it or not thats if he is not able to contribute immediately which he maybe able to. I just think that if you own this guys rights and give him a couple years yo learn how to become a complete SF his versatility will payback huge in the longrun.

IknoBall12ParticipantI don think he’s nearly as athletic as any of those guys mentioned above. But I will say dude has game! Ima a duke fan at that’s guy has flat out terrorized us every time we’ve played. What’s crazy to me is like u mentioned he’s 6’5 but he doesn’t play above the rim at all as a big on his team and has like an old man/YMCA game that gives people fits. I’ve Long wondered if he make sure the league what can he play and I have no idea. Dude is pure effort and heart out there but I just can’t see any of the types above u have mentioned. I would say pj tucker would be closest but even pj never could score like bonzie

Sewok15ParticipantI feel like Deonte Burton from Iowa state could be that type of player. He plays above the rim and can hit the 3. He is built like a brick house. He is pretty much a thicker slightly less athletic Miles Bridges and should be a good 2nd round prospect for somebody.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantHe is extremely undersized to play pf at the next level but some of that is negated by his wingspan. He is just a guy that knows how to score the ball against longer defenders by using his strength, skill and craftiness around the rim. Whether that will translate to the next level I’m not sure. Defensively, I actually have more question marks. He is not particularly athletic and doesn’t move his feet well enough to guard on the perimeter, which would be a necessity at the next level.

kobyzParticipantyes he can’t guard anyone on the perimeter right now, need to cut down his pot belly first, his game style right now is like elton brand, but with much less size, can’t play pf in the nba with his size…

tennislegendParticipantquite a stretch in my opinion adrian dantley was a profific scorer and is in the hall of fame. Colson may make the NBA but most likely isnt even a starter in my opinion
