bobbybParticipantWell not too bold but just my opinions
1 I dont think the OKC Thunder will be this great super team like everyone thinks. I think they might make the playoffs, but some analysts have them as a 2 seed in the west! Yes they played well in the playoffs but i think a lot of teams will change strategy against Durant. This happens all the time that a team finishes well then they assume it carries over to next year.
2 I think that the Pistons / Clippers will both be .500 ( or close ) teams. I think TMac wants to stay in the league and he will come up big late in games. Also i think Greg Monroe will have a good rookie season after a few months in . Gordan played great this summer and Griffin is a beast. If Baron and Kaman can stay healthy and play decent, they will be a plus .500 team.

RUDEBOY_Participantlol..most guys have about 10 bold predictions..
but i agree with with you about the Thunder..They wont sneak up on anyone like they did last year..But if they can get someone to contribute in the post so it opens things up for their perimeter players..Becuz they do have the talent to be a 2 seed..
Monroe will be starting by the allstar break if he stays healthy..

SwatLakeCityParticipantI know. I mean the Thunder finished 8th place last year. Yeah, they had an outstanding season, and played very well against the top seeded Lakers, but they made no improvements except for somewhat solving their big hole at Center by drafting Aldrich. But will Aldrich really start over Krstic.
The Jazz, Lakers, and Mavs all made significant upgrades. This should move the Thunder down a lot more than people think. I think the Thunder will improve from last year, but not all the way from 8 to 2. Probably more like 8 to 5 or 8 to 4.
