Lin will start for the All-Star team just like Yao did every single season he played in, I mean Yi almost got voted into the starting position when he was with the Nets and Lin is much more popular than he is.

Goran Dragic wins MIP, while Michael Beasley also becomes a 20 PPG and 8 RPG player.

Damian Lillard wins ROTY and nearly leads the Blazers to a playoff spot.

Denver proves you don’t need a go-to scorer and defeat ______ to get to the WCF.

Indiana appears to reach its ceiling after Roy Hibbert not improving and another 2nd round out.

Rondo’s scoring numbers lower but he raises his APG to 13 with re-tooled youth.

Nets and Knicks meet in playoffs creating one of the most epic and most viewed series in NBA history. (More of a wish)

The number #1 seed from the east last year will be a middle of the road team. Derrick Rose tore his ACL and that usually takes a year or more to come back from, unless you’re Adrrian Peterson. But thing is he sits on the sidelines when the defense comes in, also he isn’t contantly moving, its a completely different game. I know Deng and Noah were injured too last year, Idk if they gotten surgery or didn’t need it.

The Nets definitely should be able to make the playoffs that didn’t make it last year, with all the moves they have done. Derom Williams is a top 5 PG. Joe Jonson and Gerlad Wallace are top 20/30 players. Brook Lopes is a reliable scoring option big man. The bench includes Andray Blatche, Marshoon Brooks, Josh Childess, Cj Watson, Reggie Evans, Keith Bogans.

The Minnesota Timberwolves definitely are gonna make noise in the West and will be in the Playoffs. Rubio from what I read is ahead of schedule. He also plays a whole different style and role from the likes of Rose/Westbrook too. Love is a top 3 PF. The team has added veterans help Kirilenko, jose Barea, B-Roy and a good athlete/shooter Chase Budinger. Derrick Williams second year, so he’ll likely get more mintures and we’ll see how things work out with him backing up either the pf/sf positions.

Prediction: The Lakers get a slow start with Dwight being injured and finish in the lower half of the WC, but are 100% come playoffs.

The Thunder and Lakers meet in the 2nd round. The ensuing clash is one of the greatest in NBA History.

The surviving team gets taken down in the WCF by the Nuggets/Spurs. Hilarity ensues.

    Harrison Barnes nabs ROY

Bradon Roy has a subpar season (Rooting for him to prevail)

Orlando Magic worst record in the league

Josh Smith, Al Jefferson is traded by the deadline (not for each other)

Damian Lillard is going to win ROY. He will have the ball in his hands being likely the starting  PG. The rest of the guards on the team are catch and shoot players. Lillard being able attack of the dribble, also a very good shooter. He is going get good assist numbers while putting up points.

Lakers get off to an average start, Phil Jackson replaces Mike Brown.

Jeremy Lin is a bust, Rockets are the worst team in the West.

Carmelo Anthony or Stoudemire will demand a trade after they start losing.

Andrew Bynum goes down with a season ending injury.  Sixers miss the playoffs.

    Charlotte wins 20 games.

Orlando gets the makes the playoffs at the 8th seed.

Josh Smith is traded to the Lakers or the Heat.

Stephen Curry reinjures his ankle at least three times.  Plays a total of 40 games.

    Austin Rivers outperforms Anthony Davis.

    Andre Drummond wins ROY.

Kobe will pass the ball more than once and shoot more than 47% from the field for the year, something he has never done.

Derrick Williams doubles his scoring output from last year to 16 ppg.

Minnesota and Milwaukee make the playoffs.

Miami doesn’t win the championship, people start asking themselves instead who would win a 1-on-1 between Scottie Pippen and Lebron James…

By the all-star break KG will resort to carrying Darko down the court when he realizes just how slow Darko is.

White Mamba will be a assistant coach somewhere.

Ben Gordon will be back playing for Chicago by the end of the year.

Draymond Green has a better rookie campaign than Harrison Barnes.

Stephen Curry will be healthy for the entire season. 22 ppg 4 rpg 6 apg

Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings will each score at least 45 points multiple times.

Everyone will act surprised when the Knicks struggle to stay above .500 all season.

Everyone will act surprised when Lin struggles then claim they predicted that he "just isn’t that good" ages ago and Scott Machado will start multiple games (and do well).

Javale Mcgee will make a smart play.

I won’t mention some that have already been posted, like Anthony Davis not being named ROY. The following are my predictions:

    – Nash averages +10apg, again.

    – Marvin Williams and Javale McGee have career seasons (not because I like them… I just think it’d be good to have a change).

    – Kevin Martin is traded (this one’s pretty obvious).

    – Chicago won’t make the playoffs

Indiana will get to the Eastern Conference Finals, then lose to you-know-who.

Milwaukee, Minnesota and Golden State make the playoffs

Josh Smith, Cousins, Jennings, Ellis make AS teams

Greg Oden returns to the league midseason

    Kwame makes a 3 pointer

Evan Turner breaks out to average 15 PPG and 8 RPG

    Sullinger makes all-rookie 2nd team

    Thomas Robinson wins ROY

Orlando, Charlotte, Houston finish as 3 worst teams

Orlando ends up with the #1 overall pick, taking Shabazz Muhammad

The Nuggets will finish 4th in the West, have the 5th best record in the League, only behind the Spurs, Lakers, Thunder, and Heat.

Andre Iggy will average 10 ppg but still make the All-NBA third team.

Andrew Bogut and Steph Curry will combine to play 150 games this season.

The Mavs will lose more than 50 games this season.

The Spurs will once again win the West.

KG and Tim Duncan both dominate and each make the All-Star team.

Derek Fisher will make a clutch shot for someone sometime in April, May, or even June.

Anthony Randolph, Kenneth Faried, and Javale McGee will have back to back to back breathtaking dunks 16 times this season.

    •  If Durant doesn’t win MVP I think Rondo will. That may not seem like a bold statement to some, but considering this is the point guard who "can’t shoot" it says a lot about the game of basketball.
    • LeBron will win DPOY
    • Favors will win MIP
    • Westbrook will lead the League in scoring and be in consideration for MVP. I’m not sure how I feel about Westbrook, but I still don’t think we’ve seen his break out season yet. If the finals are any indicator of how he will preform next year then he could be on his way to greatness. I’ve never seen a player make as many strides and improvments in such a short amount of time as Westbrook, and with his play in the Olympics he should of only improved

    – Sacramento Kings move to Mars.

    – Dion Waiters pulls Byron Scott from a basketball game.

    – Michael Jordan trades for Andray Blatche.

    – A player recovering from a major injury will actually be BEHIND schedule (seriously, when has it been reported that they are behind rather than ahead?)

    – Andre Drummond will shoot over 30% from the charity stripe.

    – Michael Beasley returns to the afro. http://blogs.thescore.com/tbj/2011/02/24/best-worst-look-beasley-vs-baltche/

    – I will NOT thumbs up my own post.
