d-ravParticipantTwolves trade #2, Darko for Bucks Bogut, #10. IMO, I think it works well for both squads. Bucks need a 4 man (and DWill would be perfect alongside Jennings) and Darko obviously replaces Bogut, while Twolves, though Darko was serviceable, Bogut’s arrivable would be a huge upgrade on both ends of the court. My only concern though is if Cavs choose DWill with the first pick, then the Bucks with the 2nd pick is screwd, though they may toy with the idea of choosing Kanter and make him their 4 man of the future (which ain’t so bad). Lastly, with the 10th pick, the TWolves could choose to upgrade their SG stocks, and surely all of Burks, Klay and Marshon will still be there, so it works perfectly for them imo. What do you guys think?
So, starting 5 (and possible rotations) for both teams would roughly look like this;
TWOLVES; Rubio, Wes, B-Easy, Love, Bogut (Ridnour, Burks, Martell, Randolph)
BUCKS; Jennings, Salmons, Delfino, Dwill, Darko (CDR, Maggette, Mbah A Moute, Gooden/ Sanders)

natedogggParticipantDarko and the number 2 is no where near enough for bogut. Bucks would slam the door in your face

boshjonesfordParticipantDisagree completly
I wouldnt even do 2+darko for Bogut and you want the bucks to throw in their pick
Quality Center’s are much harder to find then offensive pFs (Williams)

rileymcshea3ParticipantMinny wins this trade easily

mds0549ParticipantWHo knows what Bogut is going to be like after his injury. The rumor out that I read doesn’t even include Darko although someone would have to be added. Its a better deal for the Bucks than you would think

xavier328ParticipantSo the Bucks are basically trading Bogut and their #10 for Dwill….makes no sense for them to do this trade(the Bucks).

DunksNJordans23ParticipantTimberwolves would have to throw in Wes Johnson or find a 3rd team to deal Flynn to and send whatever they get for Flynn to the Bucks.

What’s the rumor? All I’ve heard today being talked about: 2 for Bogut + 10. RT @KidClipper

Does the Bogut rumor have some legs?DarrenWolfson Darren Wolfson
Sounds like one of MANY deals that has been discussed: 2 for Bogut & 10. No clue who initiated. Remember, one of many talked about. #TwolvesDarrenWolfson Darren Wolfson@jflesta Re: Bogut – there are concerns about his immediate & long-term health. Plus, has 3-yrs, $39 mil. left on deal. Same as I brought up yesterday: 1 of many deals talked about. RT @Timb3r_Wolf @DarrenWolfson have you heard anything about the bogut trade?0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/18/2011 - 9:47pm #546993
Carpe EMParticipantThe Bucks’ biggest need is at SG. When they pick, either Burks, Thompson, or Hamilton will be available. They should stay where they are. Not to mention, Bogut is one of the league’s best rebounders and a great shot blocker. You can’t replace a guy like him easily. This would be highway robbery by Minnesota if it happened.

meisi4Participanti heard that the Bucks look to make a trade but i thought they would trade jennings… bogut is one of the few really good defensive centers. i would not trade that for a #2 pick in this draft.
darko would clearly be a downgrade and jennings hasn´t improved since is rookie year. jennings still is very uneffective scoring the ball and isn´t really a great playmaker as well…. i still like him but for those reasons i would think about moving him if i am the bucks….

HarbingerThe Bucks have to rebuild at some point Bogut had trouble staying on the court for years now and with the left hand injury can barley hit a foul shot 44% for the season watchin him shoot pains you knowing he is so uncomfortable shooting. Hes fg percentage is the lowest its ever been the bucks have him as a conerstone but they cant win with him and were one of the worst scoring teams in the league last year. Its time to rebuild the number 2 pick would help them start the process the idea isnt that crazy, of course you ave a big man a good big they are hard to come by but when you have nothing else going for you as a team ,no free agent wants to play in your city, no money to spend anyway and you stuck in mediocrity never really winning YOU REBUILD. He a fit in with the wolves bringing defense and making the wolves one of the best if not the best rebounding teams in the league.Just for the number 2 pick? No brainer and the wolves go back to the lottery for the next year to beef up the team with talent. It worked for OKC.

PulseGlazerParticipantThe Bucks don’t need to rebuild by trading their best player. They could concievably deal Bogut, but it would take more than the #2. They’d need Wes or Beasley, as well as to dump one of their toxic contracts. Bogut immediately makes up for Love’s shortcomings, with Beas, Rubio and Alec Burks/Klay Thompson… that’s a playoff team, even out West, so long as they get rid of Rambis. I can’t imagine this actually happening – too good to be true for the Wolves, but, admittedly, Jennings, Williams, Wes is a nice core to start building around IF you think Williams can be an A-list star.

AKOOParticipantBogut is okay when healthy and if you put him on the correct team he could push them over the top like Tyson Chandler just did but I think you guys are totally overrating his value if you think he is worth more than the #2 pick and filler like Darko. Bogut is always hurt when his team needs him the most. I dont know I like Bogut but for someone that has played a average of 56 games over the last 3 years and has a contract that pays $39 million over the next 3 years is about fair. The dude makes more than Al Horford and as much as the Hawks need a true Center they would not trade Al for Bogut straight because of health concerns alone. Bogut is like Bynum but with no offensive game and no rings but the health issues. Like I said he can have the Tyson Chandler affect on the right team though.

PulseGlazerParticipantI really, really want Minn to do this trade now that sources are saying it’s a real possibility… especially with that Gasol mess being the other option.

OhCanada-ParticipantThis is just media bs to encourage Wolves fans. Kahn makes a couple annoying phonecalls, gets hung up on, and tells his insider link to spread these rumours. Rumours reach the fans and they stay optimistic. Its stupid if you ask me, if the Bucks want an offensive PF they can keep Bogut and select Motiejunas who would fit in great at that position.
