halfdecayedParticipantTwo Mavs sources say they expect Bogut to choose the Cleveland Cavaliers once he completes his buyout. If this goes through, I think it’s a great adition for them since they have absolutely no rim protection whatsoever. His passing and his illegal screens will also comme handy. Cleveland’s depth will be crazy once Love and JR come back..

Robb_CParticipantBogut giving Golden St a big middle finger if he signs with Cleveland

HeroescantdieParticipantLol, GSW traded him to clear cap space for KD, I don’t see a reason why he’ll chose GSW who threw him to Mavs for cap space. There’s a little bit emotion the’re I think lol.

D7H7NParticipantGSW asked Bogut if he wanted to be sent to Houston or Dallas. He chose Dallas.
With Zaza, McGee, West, and McAdoo in the rotation playing well they don’t have a need for Bogut anymore. Golden state is one of the better rim protecting teams in the NBA already.
Also personality wise, Bogut is a huge prick. I’m not surprised he chose Cleveland. He’s the type of person who’d let the world burn.

The GoatParticipantGSW have apparently chosen signing Calderon over Bogut, so I think they gave him the finger first, albeit cod Dr Strange has done a good job.
I know he hasn’t played much and he’s in his 30s, but considering Bogut made an all defensive team very recently and was key to the Warriors success, I’m surprised his value has dropped to being an end of season buyout FA guy. It’s not like he can’t play offense – he can pass as well as any 5 – he just had success in a role without taking shots.

ChoppyParticipantJust look at how well he played for the Boomers in last years Olympics. He tuned back the clock a bit and showed he can still play a bit of offence when required. Defensively there are few better at the 5. His high IQ and veteran savvy allow him to overcome his lack of athleticism. It goes to show why he was linked to GS and Cavs in advance of his buyout. Teams still need what he provides.

nath09ParticipantI’m pretty sure the only reason his value has dropped is because his body is massively unreliable. The IQ, defense and passing are all still going well.

HitsterParticipantGSW might have to cut someone to sign Bogut and with Zara back fit again they have decent frontcourt depth. The Cavs probably have a bigger need for Bogut and he may feel he has a better long term chance there and also the chance to play with LBJ is appealing.

bballjunkie09ParticipantBogut to the Cavs makes the anticipated GSW-Cleveland game that much more exciting. I can’t wait to see him and Draymond get into it with each other.
