joe2324ParticipantThe bobcats are clearly the worst team in the NBA and they have the best shot at getting the #1 pick this year in the draft. The only problem is this draft class has no stars in it and the odds of finding that difference maker or superstar is not going to happen in this draft. If your the bobcats and you have the #1 pick, do you try to trade that pick for a teams 1st round pick in 2014 or maybe 2015? I think you can increase your odds of being just bad enough to lock in either Jabri parker or Wiggins in 2014.

joe2324ParticipantTrade the 2013 #1 pick and Kemba Walker and load up on picks in the 2014 draft. This team is going nowhere and they need to do something.

ZeeProfessorParticipantYou can’t be so sure that this Draft doesn’t have any potential all stars or superstars.
If I’m the Bobcats, I’d draft Mclemore or Cody Zeller. Either of these guys would be a good fit. Also, they wouldn’t drastically turn the team around in their rookie season which would give the Bobcats another lottery pick next season.

ChewyParticipantStern will give the number one pick to Orlando. Then Charlotte will get it after next year when they get back the Hornets mascot.
I’m usually not a conspiracy theorist, but I fully believe the lottery is rigged.

aarondsonixfanParticipantEven though they have the highest chance of getting the number one pick, I feel like they aren’t going to get the number 1 pick. It has been a while since the team with the worst record got the number one pick. It’s usually the teams in the 4-7 range that move up and get it. This team needs a lot of help, even though MKG has played pretty well so far.
In response to Chewy, if the Kings move to Seattle, don’t count them out to potentially move to the number 1 spot as well. I am with you, I believe that the lottery is pretty rigged as well, but I guess since we don’t watch those ping pong balls go, we will never know what actually happens.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThe lotto is rigged, why do we never see the pingpong balls drop? Charlotte is in a great position to gather a ton of young talent if they continue to draft well. They’ve nailed it on the head with Walker, MKG, Biyombo, and Taylor. They have two lotto picks this year(theirs and Portlands) and two next year(theirs and Detroits).

tblazer_NZParticipantPortland will likely keep their pick. they are currently in 11th place in the western conference which would give them the twelfth pick(top 12 protected). The Lakers and Mavs are trying to make a run for the playoffs while Portland has lost 7 straight.

Bosnian-Bobcats-FanParticipanti’d keep the pick and draft the BPA….then hopefully land a top 2 or 3 pick in 2014….which i believe is likely..we also have detroits pick next year…love what rich cho is doing…trying to get as many picks as possible…But if i was CHA i’d draft shabazz probably..ply him at 2..and for those who are saying shabazz wont be able to guard NBA 2s….well what’s the prob if they put MKG on the SG’s?….i don’t see a big problem

aamir543ParticipantLook at the team Orlando is trotting out there, they’re only two games ahead of the Bobcats, I see Orlando bottoming out and getting the 25% chance to get the #1 pick. They’re starting a bunch of young inexperienced guys, I’d be surprised to see them get to 20 wins, even though they’re sitting at 15.

Olynyk 4 NPOYHow scary defensively would they be if they draft Nerlens Noel and victor Oladipo.
plus mkg and Biyombo.0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/23/2013 - 11:23am #750243

domeico7ParticipantI think they’ll be one of the worst record teams next year too either way so they will want to pick and McLemore is a pretty good fit for them.

joe2324Participantthey traded that pick to the suns for the suns 2014 #1 pick. Since this draft class is soo poor, its unlikely that the two players the suns draft will have any impact and the suns will have a poor record next year too. So, the bobcats would ultimately get 2 high draft picks in 2014 which could possibly land them wiggins and parker. I dont know, i’m just throwing ideas out there. the bobcats are just god awful

22LMalbroughParticipantI think Bobcats should draft Noel this year and next year draft Wiggings, the team would look like; Noel, Biyombo, MKG, Wiggins, Walker. With the other pick they have in the 1st round they should get Jeff Withey for the back up center the bench would look like Withey, Mullens, Taylor, Henderson, Sessions. Wiggins and Walker would do most of the scoring the rest of the team would need to play that D and of the bench you would get a little more scoring with Henderson, Sessions the bobcats would have 3 really good shot blockers with Noel, Biyombo, & Withey they would be built around defense

22LMalbroughParticipantBobcats not looking to win now there still building so BMac wouldn’t be the right pick if there looking yo draft wiggins next year go big and get Noel then and let Noel fully recover from his injury
