Bostoncelticsforlife9ParticipantSorry if I’m a little bit biased because I am filipino but I am really rooting for Bobby Ray Parks Jr. to make it to the NBA. He is half filipino half black and his dad was selected 53 overall in the third round during the 1984 NBA draft. He is a 6’4 205 pound shooting gaurd.
Parks was ranked the 31 best shooting gaurd in the class of 2011 and had commited to Georgia Tech but later decommited to go the the Philippines with his father to be with family because his father was diagnosed with cancer. In the Philipines he played on the Philippines national team and became MVP of his team. He was eligible for the 2015 NBA Draft but was undrafted despite being worked out by five NBA teams.
Bobby Parks was selectedin the second round in the D league draft by the Texas Legends(Dallas Mavericks D-League team). I know his chances of making the NBA are very slim but I just wanted to get his name out there and let you guys know about him because I really want him to make it to the NBA.
