Proposing the sign and trade of Eric Bledsoe to Cavs for Anthony Bennett or Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters.  Suns get a two for one deal and make a rotation of Dragic/Waiters starting backcourt and Thomas/G.Green bench.  Bennett or Thompson is debatable .  Cavs will join Bledsoe with good friend LBJ for somewhere between 2 to 4 yrs and 15.5 mil per year and can wait for next f/a for Love to possibly join.  Cavs starting five:

    PF L. James

    SF A. Wiggins

    C. A.Varejao

    SG E. Bledsoe

    PG K. Irving

Cleveland fans can chant Defense and mean it.

Lebron needs people to spread the floor. And with that, Kyrie and Lebron are your only true three point threats. Sure, Wiggins and Bledsoe can make them, but teams would much rather have them shoot than drive. Also, if you’re giving max money to Kyrie, Bledsoe and Lebron, how do you plan on signing a max money free agent in Love?

Kyrie’s 15+ million dollar extension kicks in next summer. There is no possible way they could add another Max contract when they would already have 3 players on their team making Max money. The Salary Cap is still in existence.

Actually, Bledsoe would probably sign for the 4yr 48 million that Suns have rumored to offer him.  Especially to go play for Cavs and James.   It would be approx 3 mil more per than Bennett/Waiters or Thompson/Waiters.  As for the fit of Bledsoe he would be a prime facilitator on the team that Miami would have liked to have added if they kept LBJ.  Also, the defense that James, Wiggins, and Bledsoe could play would be so much better than Love, James, and Irving could muster together.  Any team coming out of the West next year is finishing off the potential K.Love led Cavs in 5 gms.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say you don’t know what restricted free agency is. If the Suns already offered Bledsoe 12 million a year I am pretty confident they would match any offer for that amount and retain his services. It is assumed that if you want to sign Bledsoe without the Suns matching it needs to be for Max money…even then they still could potentially keep him.

Also how would Bledsoe be the prime facilitator on a team that includes LeBron James and Kyrie Irving?

lol…welcome to fantasyland. Home of all Timberwolves fans. Get 3 #1 picks in 4 years. Sign the best player in Basketball in the heroic comeback tale of the prodigal son. Trade for the best PF in the league without giving up anything. Sign a freak athlete PG who could be really good to a cheaper deal than what has been reported he already turned down. Win not 5, not 6, not 7, not 8, not 9 but 20 championships in a row.

Realistic trade here.  LBJ and Bledsoe are tight and have same agent.  2yrs 24 mil for Bledsoe can get it done and on par with James plan to reup in Cle.  Clear Bennetts, Thompsons, Waiters, and resign Varejao to team friendly contract (about 5mil per).  Sign wiggins to 5.xx mil per and there is approx 25 mil left to sign Bledsoe and plenty of maneuverability to sign Love the following year.

    Lebron- 22 mil

    Kyrie- 15 mil

Bledsoe- 12 mil, even though it is reported he wants 16, let’s just go by your numbers

    Wiggins- 5 mil, rounding down

    22+15+12+5=54

    Salary Cap=a little over 63

So even without varejao, you only have 9 million to offer Love. Also, let’s just acknowledge the fact this would leave you with a five person team.
