Smart Move, Roy will be great for 5 seasons and can help Portland reach that level

    Roy-Oden and Aldridge for 10 years? I see a couple title appearances…

It took them long enough. The team has so much talent, they just need to keep making solid moves and not rush things. I’m still surprised that they don’t consider letting Roy run some point so that Rudy can play more. It might wear Roy down some, but Rudy can handle the ball too. I mean come on, Derek Fisher doesn’t handle the ball that well, but it doesn’t matter because there is hardly that much pressure on the ball in the NBA. I expect Rudy to leave when his contract is up and end up being a really nice player in another city.

Please keep in mind, I was thinking this before they signed Andre Miller. Miller is a nice temporary upgrade, but I don’t see him getting them over the top, though he should help with the development of all the young guys. Maybe he can help build Oden’s confidence up.
