ZeroParticipantIf he doesn’t enter, who do you guys have entering this year? It’d be nice if Iggy got a second chance and Alonzo Gee has impressed me. I really wish Terrico White was on a team though…

Jlv2011have been nice to see one of his spectacular throw down layups.

SupParticipantSounds like a set up so Lebron can “win”

Sasha4MVPParticipantI’d love to see Scalabrine in the dunk contest.

kngojcParticipantI would like to see Dwight Howard vs Blake Griffin with a little bit of Nate Robinson in there.
Lebron makes dunks look just too easy so I don’t know if he would get great scores because he can pull off any dunk in the world I swear so even if its a high degree of difficulty, he’ll still make it look easy.

I Still say McGee was Robbed….

Anton123ParticipantIt’s absolutely impossible to debate against DeRozan being robbed, the two dunks he made just might’ve been the two greatest dunks ever done in the first round after the Carter windmill.
The props have consumed the contest, they get the capes, the cakes, the flags, the cars, the stickers, the two hoops and along with this they seem to absolutely ignore people that can actually dunk without them, it was Moon in 2008, then DeRozan in 2011

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantI still want to see Iggy vs DeRozan vs Mcgee vs Lebron actually trying.

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantDouble post… Anyways Losing blake griffin could be a good thing or a bad thing, depends who gets in the competition now.
And btw Nate quit doing the competition. He thinks its rigged now. Although he didn’t deserve that one vs iggy. But no one expected a 5’6 guy dunking with style even if it took millions of tries so thats probably why he won. But Iggy needs a 2nd chance.

aarondsonixfanParticipantI want to see….
Serge Ibaka (Free-Throw line dunk was nice, as well as the stuffed animal dunk)
DeAndre Jordan (will probably win it)
Demar DeRozen (again, two amazing dunks in the first round)
Russell Westbrook/Derrick Rose (Athletic Freaks for point guards who can really throw it down)

For_Never_EverParticipantI’m sick of seeing Nate Robinson and Gerald Wallace entering the dunk contest. I wouldnt mind seeing a bunch of new faces in.

ultrablue123ParticipantI really wouldn’t be suprised if DeAndre Jordan does enter. He seems like the type.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/03/2012 - 9:50am #631758

kngojcParticipantI think I remember Derozan said he was going to quit doing the dunk contest because he kept losing for the same kinda props stuff that made other dunks look better even though his dunks were way harder to do. Before he came into the NBA he had never EVER lost a dunk contest before… because nobody could bring in two hoops, a car, or some other random prop in.
I kinda want to see Derozan again, Rudy Gay, Paul George, Russel Westbrook. That would be a good contest if there wasn’t the use of props I think.

aarondsonixfanParticipanti also kind of wonder how creative Roddy B would be if he entered…? He is really athletic, but do you think he would be creative enough for a dunk contest?

IndianaBasketballParticipantWith all of the "lob city" hype, at least one Clipper has to be in it.
I guess it’s DeAndre Jordan’s turn this year… He’s probably a better dunker than Blake Griffin.

WizardofOzParticipantThe only reason he’s not defending his title because he knows he’ll lose this year. I’m starting to hate this guy more an more.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/04/2012 - 5:04am #631991

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe said he’s not really a dunk contest type of dunker… I agree. He’s more like LeBron James… Just get up high and dunk it hard.
He did it once and that’s enough for him.

Malik-UniversalParticipant@wizkid… i dont think he will care about losing it when he has already probobly gotten the dunk of the yr under his belt…
@indy bball… theres no way deandre jordan is a better dunker lol
