Andrew Bogut isn’t 100% healthy yet, but he’s tall, big, strong, long and pretty damn athletic. He’s a great shot blocker. Griffin is just man handling him… Easily. Hitting him with jump shots… Taking him off of the dribble. Going around him… Through him… Getting and one’s. It’s crazy.

It just seems like this dude gets better every single game.

Why is Andrew Bogut defending Griffin in the first place?

Because he’s the biggest, strongest and longest defender the Bucks have.

Griffin has been defended by Illyasova and Mbaha-Moute (spelling lol) as well.

Well because Mbah a Moute is too small and skinny.

    Ersin is a terrible defender.

Gooden isnt even playing, is he??  I dont even know….

And Andrew is a pretty good defedner…

Bogut is a very good defender, i know that, he’s from my home country, but he doesn’t have the footspeed to come close to Griffin, at least Mbah a Moute has the athletiscm to keep up with Griffin, and Illysova has quicker feet as well. But i suppose if he does better then those two well be better try and defend him then.

32, 11 and 6.  Dude is a rookie and destroying the league like that.  I love it.

He is having a better season than Lebron had his 1st year. Higher averages in a lot of the main categories. Blake might be the best in the League in a few years.

It’s a possibility… I can see him being in the conversation with LeBron James.

He needs to keep working on his defense and gaining overall awareness at that end, but there’s honestly nothing he can’t do. He’s not too far away from being a completely player offensively. His jumpshot is improving every game. He needs to put in more work at the defensive end though and learn how to use his strength/athleticism to become a great on ball defender. The awareness and knowing where to be will come. He has good games and bad games at the defensive end.

like i said before, if donald sterling cant build a winner around blake, then clipper fans really do have no hope. He is gonna be a superstar and mvp candidate very soon.

This guy is a bull in a china shop and I see the ground swell of teams that think they need to rough him up to keep him in check.  Good luck with that.  This is not Shaq situation where you can send him to the line without paying for it.  This kid is really good and I hope Sterling realizes what he has and makes this team competitive.  It has been too long, and I am a Laker fan.

And on the Bogut comments, he was in the discussion for defensive player of the year last year, so he is not some pushover.  I think health is an issue and couple that with the fact that Blake is just a beast…..well you have games like last night.

Clippers need a new owner badly (preferably one who isn’t racist) then this team will really take off.

i go to a clippers game and blake only gets 14 and 11(rockets game, chuck hayes really defends him well) and then a week later he gets 32 12 and 6. smh. but seriously, blake usually has more problems against people with good strength and mbah a moute and ilyasova do not have the strength for blake. but blake is a tough cover for anybody in the league. i mean he is going to be averaging numbers kg had a few seasons ago in minny(around 24 12 and 5). lets just hope blake can get more help around him. the clippers have a very good young core and with another couple solid additions they will be title contenders in 3 years. sterling just has to dish out the cash to blake, eric g and the rest.

Bogut is a very good defender but thats against Centers. Blake is Quick,Strong, Athletic PF. Thats a very bad match up for him. Like Odom or Josh smith would also be bad matchups for him. Bogut needs to check other centers. But like someone said  the bucks didn’t have anyone else to guard him.

Yeah Chuck hayes is a better defender for him because he is quick and Strong

Yeah hopefully the Clippers can get lucky in the lotto or something..The only thing that will stop Griffin is injuries. Hopefully he stays healthy because at the rate he is going, he will be one of the best in the league after awhile.

It seems that Griffin’s extra year to rehab has made him even stronger and more explosive than ever.  He has had some highlights this year that are truly remarkable.

Missing the entire season did give him the opportunity to heal from knee tendonitus, which he had for the past couple of seasons.

He’s more athletic than he was before.
