Once a scumbag always a scumbag.  Usually these arrests are made after lengthy investigations, add the fact that they have seized information from his computer and there is a good chance that there is something going on here.  Of all the guys doing drugs in the NBA, this guy actually got suspended for a year and a half.  He got way too into his nickname birdman and looks like a freakshow.  For the kids sake, I hope this isn’t true but I have a feeling that we have seen the last of Chris Anderson in the NBA.

this is getting really bad. I have never been affected by this either. Gymnastics and swim coaches were under investigation a couple of years. That NHL player had his interview about being abused on a junior hockey team. Bernie fine is still being looked at. Jerry Sandusky is going to be going on trial eventually for abusing children, and now this. Things have to change. Be more aware of what and when your kids are with coaches. If you have any suspicion of a person possessing child p0rnography, or have suspicion someone abusing children report them. If you have been abused do not be afraid to tell authorities, they will help you. This is nasty and nobody deserves this. I normally dont write things on here that attack social issues, but this keeps coming up in the sports world. It is our job to protect the kids, they cant defend themselves.

The investigation began in February, I would be much more likely to hold off on judgement if this was a simple case of someone accusing him today and the story breaking.  Anderson had agents that work in child pornography came in and usually that is because they have been able to track something back to his IP address.  It’s possible that this will end up being nothing more than accusations but only time will tell

I think everyone should hold judgement. Like the poster of this thread said "allegations." I don’t know one person that has never gotten accussed of something they didn’t do. We see people that get locked all the time for murders and they say they have all the evidence to convict them. Then 20-30 years later, we find out something that clears them. Not saying this is the case at all, but it seems like any time anyone gets accused of something and it gets reported that it is automatically taken as a fact.

People get too anxious to just jump on whatever little bit of information that they get. I read the articles and at this point you have very little information. I’m not going to judge the guy because he has had problems. Who hasn’t? To be honest I don’t trust any of these sites when they report important information because they are in such a hurry to report something that they just throw out whatever they can get a hold of. They were calling George Zimmerman white in a lot of articles, then later white hispanic, which I think was more to just try to find a way to get people going. I hope he didn’t do it. Whatever "it" may be.

Off the topic though, but why in the world is he giving out shirtless photos of himself? That doesn’t seem like a thing a basketball player would do.
