Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantSo I have a question. Can this work?
Since the Miami Heat can go over the cap to sign Wade and Haslem because they own his Bird Rights.
(**IF**) After they sign LeBron James and do a sign and trade involving Q-Rich, Mike-B, Dorrell Wright and they bring in Chris Bosh. They can sign Tyson Chandler, Ridnour, Ray Allen. Then they use their MLE and take Travis Outlaw.
Then they use the Bird Rights of Wade and Haslem and sign them last.
Now your roster looks like:
PG: Chalmers / Ridnour
SG: Wade / Allen / scrub
SF: James / Outlaw
PF: Bosh / Haslem
C: Chandler / scrub / scrubNow my question is.. Is this possible or is this somehow breaking rules?

the I in winParticipantWith a player’s bird rights comes a cap hold. If you are already over the cap you can sign him back but you can’t sign other people unless you can still sign that player. Good idea though.

I was expecting someone to say “That’s the craziest thing ever! It’s not going to happen!” But I’m happy somebody answered my question. Thank you.
