valentineI saw on ESPN that he told the Miami newspaper he is considering.
I wonder if Cleveland will boo him too. Big Z really wants his ring.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m sure he’ll get booed too, but not to the extent that LeBron is going to.
You really can’t blame Z for chasing a ring at this stage of his career… He’s old.

FDAPOBut he’s a lifetime Cav….
Clevelands reaction to a Miami Heat team with LeBron and Big Z will be priceless.

IndianaBasketballParticipantOn another note… I also heard on NBATV that Jerry Stackhouse could end up on the Heat.

LawDeeZeeParticipantstackhouse? … he doesn’t have anything left in his tank, does he? … i think it’s important that miami puts guys around their big 3 that are capable of making contributions in other areas, i don’t know that stackhouse fits the bill

RUDEBOY_Participantyeah..Stackhouse said on NBATV that he’ll love to play for the Heat..After he was drafted in 1995 he also said that he was goin to be a much better player than Jordan…lmao!!
But Stack can still help a team…0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/12/2010 - 10:03am #352589

MuggsyParticipantThey’re both far past their prime, but still very effective and experienced. Miami has next to no money left, and a lot of roster slots left. Old vets that are willing to take a bag of chips for a spot on the roster is how they fill those spots.

buckeyefanParticipantI dont think we will boo him at all. Why would he be booed after the loyality he showed the Cavs. If anything we should retire his jersey when Lebron comes to town.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI think Stackhouse would be a good pickup for the Heat. He said he’d be more than willing to take the veteran’s minimum.
I thought he was washed up, but he sort of impressed me with Milwaukee lol. He had a few dunks despite his old legs. What impressed me the most though was that he was still aggressive. I think finding aggressive players who aren’t afraid to attack is important for the Heat.

MuggsyParticipantThat would be pretty funny…But yeah I think people would understand Zeke leaving.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantHey ButlerBulldog, ”did you see that dunk they showed on NBA TV of John Wall dunking in Stackhouse’s grill? Dat was Nasty

IndianaBasketballParticipantLol yea… That wasn’t Stackhouse though… He was #42 lol 😉

doubledribblerParticipantI’m a big fan of Z. No Cavs fan should boo him. The guy is loyal and kept battling to come back from injuries early in his career. I have a lot of respect for him. I wouldn’t have faulted him if he had went elsewhere after he was traded midseason either though I think he was such an easy player to trade because you knew he was so loyal that if possible he would make his way back.
Despite this and the fact that he is still effective a front line of Chris Bosh and Z doesn’t scare me at all. It’s one that would get ate up on the boards. I understand why you add him though because he’s going to be as good as about anyone left on the market at center. I had heard at one point the Heat were also looking at Juwan Howard. Another guy that will play for cheap, but it makes me wonder how effective are these guys really going to be. We may see 82 games of Wade James and Bosh playing 40 mins a game. That isn’t the worst thing in the world because they are still pretty young, but it is going to tire them down, which is when these role players will really have to step it up in the playoffs.
On another note, teams need to hurry and get their lineups straightened out and guys signed so my rosters are up to date as soon as I get 2K11.

ZeroParticipantA lot of the veterans who don’t have any rings and are still decent are going to go to the Heat.
