IndianaBasketballParticipant1 – Will there be a season? If so, how long? I’m usually always optimistic and positive, but no… I don’t think there will be a season this year.
2 – Will LeBron ever win a title? If so, will it be with the Heat? Yes, he’ll get one or two and of course they’ll be with the Heat.
3 – Is Kevin Durant the best offensive player in the NBA? If not, then who is? That’s a tough question. Durant doesn’t have a complete offensive game yet, but he’s an amazing scorer. IF we’re talking about the most complete offensive player in the league, I’d go with Dirk or Kobe.
4 – Who is your surprise team we should all keep an eye on in the next 2-3 years? I’d keep an eye on the Clippers, despite their awful past. They have a budding superstar/franchise player in Griffin, an all-star caliber two guard in Gordon and a solid young supporting cast with the potential to add another very high draft pick very soon. Their cap situation should allow them to add another solid player or two as well.
5 – Who will really step up and be the next great Big Man? Greg Oden’s career has been derailed by injuries, so he’s out of the picture. Other than Dwight Howard, I don’t really see any big men that I think can become great. There are some good centers, just not great. The center position is an endangered species.
6 – If you had to pick one player to build your NBA franchise with…who would it be? Why? I’d build my team around Howard. I’ve always felt the game was played best from the inside out and a big man who can dominate both ends of the floor makes the game easier for everybody else.

ilike.panochasParticipantBIG NBA QUESTIONS???
1 – Will there be a season? If so, how long?I think there will be a season, and will probably say we will miss 1/2 of regular season games.
2 – Will LeBron ever win a title? If so, will it be with the Heat?
Yes LeBron will eventually win a title, and it will be with the Heat ofcourse. It might be this upcoming season that he gets his 1st title.
3 – Is Kevin Durant the best offensive player in the NBA? If not, then who is?
Yes, Durant is the best scorer in my view. He manages to lead the league in scoring despite having a ball dominant scoring PG.
4 – Who is your surprise team we should all keep an eye on in the next 2-3 years?
I really like what the Wizards are starting to build. They are now emphasizing on defense, drafting 2 good defenders (Vesely and Singleton). John Wall will be a top 3 PG 3 years from now, so I can see Washington being a perennial playoff team 2-3 years from now.
5 – Who will really step up and be the next great Big Man?
Even though he is an enigma, DeMarcus Cousins has tools to dominate. No one in the league can handle his size and skills one-on-one. It’s up to him to keep working and staying in shape.
6 – If you had to pick one player to build your NBA franchise with…who would it be? Why?
I would build around Dwight Howard just because he can anchor a defense. He would be even better on offense if he had a great PG next to him. And he is still relatively young.

sammybuckeye13Participant1 – Will there be a season? If so, how long?
Wishfully yes, and no pun intended, around Christmas.
2 – Will LeBron ever win a title? If so, will it be with the Heat?
Yes. I was ecstatic that the Mavs beat them but I can’t imagine them not winning in 3 or 4 more chances as they continue to grow together and change the roster to find the most cohesive supporting cast.
3 – Is Kevin Durant the best offensive player in the NBA? If not, then who is?
He is, a claim that he solidifies by getting to the line at an extremely high rate. I still belive Melo has the best offensive repertoire, but he’s not as aggressive getting to the time, far too content to shoot 19-footers, and is mediocre from range. Kobe simply can’t be relied upon for 30-33 a night like Durant and LeBron will be always be limited by his only-solid jumper and the scoring talent around him.
4 – Who is your surprise team we should all keep an eye on in the next 2-3 years?
If Jennings develops as he should and Bogut stays healthy, with a great third option Stephen Jackson (still an 18.5 ppg guy), they could surprise teams with their size, shooting ability and defense.
5 – Who will really step up and be the next great Big Man?
I wasn’t sold prior to the summer, but I believe in Andre Drummond and believe he’ll be peaking near (but not quite at) Dwight’s level as Dwight begins to level off into simply a perennial all-star, in 5 years or so.
6 – If you had to pick one player to build your NBA franchise with…who would it be? Why?
It would still be LeBron. Great wings are now the hardest to come by in terms of ones you could start a franchise with, and LeBron is 5 years younger than Kobe, doesn’t have Wade’s injury history (and Wade is edging 30 himself). Durant isn’t a good enough team player to warrant being the #1 overall guy (though he’s top 5). This is the era of the pg, but I still wouldn’t take Paul, Deron or Rose over Lebron in the 4 best years of his prime. Dwight is the biggest competitor I think but LeBron, despite this Finals, is still the talent he was pre-Heat.

adumParticipant1 – Will there be a season? If so, how long?
i think most 60 -50 game season but i still feel it could be a competive season if it was 50 60 games alot of upsets.2 – Will LeBron ever win a title? If so, will it be with the Heat?
Yes i think they will win it next season to much talent they know what they have to do3 – Is Kevin Durant the best offensive player in the NBA? If not, then who is?
Hes obviously up there but i he needs strength he relies on his jump shot to much. Melo in my eyes i the best he has everything you need post , mid range slashing and a semi consistent 3 point shot.4 – Who is your surprise team we should all keep an eye on in the next 2-3 years?
Sacramento kings i think they are 1 draft pick and 1-2 veteran players away from being a top team in the west.5 – Who will really step up and be the next great Big Man?
Demarcus or Brook Lopez they have the tools just need some fine tuning . But D12 has it on lock for the next couple of years.6 – If you had to pick one player to build your NBA franchise with…who would it be? Why?
I would pick cp3 or d12 both the best at their positions. But i would give cp3 the edge hes just to good can be a individual star and make his teammates play above and beyond there average level.0 - Posted on: Thu, 09/01/2011 - 5:44am #596688

Toronto16Participant1 – Will there be a season? If so, how long? I’ve said it from the beginning of the lock out, they won’t get serious until late September, then they will get a deal done quickly. I think the NBA will start in mid November. Then the NBA could try to squeeze in a 82 game season, or shorten it to 72 games.
2 – Will LeBron ever win a title? If so, will it be with the Heat? Of course he will. And anybody who thinks otherwise is just blinded by their hate for him. Look, nobody wanted the Heat to lose more than me- in the first year. But he had a right to play where he wanted regardless of how immaturely he went about it.
3 – Is Kevin Durant the best offensive player in the NBA? If not, then who is? It’s a close race between he and Carmelo Anthony
4 – Who is your surprise team we should all keep an eye on in the next 2-3 years? The Clippers and the T-Wolves.
5 – Who will really step up and be the next great Big Man? Andre Drummond and hopefully Greg Oden.
6 – If you had to pick one player to build your NBA franchise with…who would it be? Why? Dwight Howard. I will always select a dominant big man, especially in today’s NBA when they are so few and far between.

Bmore_DCParticipantGuess i should answer my own questions lol
1 – Will there be a season? If so, how long?
First answer would be no…but i think it might start around Christmas
2 – Will LeBron ever win a title? If so, will it be with the Heat?
Yes, they have to be the favorites next year
3 – Is Kevin Durant the best offensive player in the NBA? If not, then who is?
If hes not right now, he will be. Right now it might be Melo but Durantula will take that top spot either this year or next unless Melo starts getting to the line more.
4 – Who is your surprise team we should all keep an eye on in the next 2-3 years?
I wanna be bias and say the Wizards (we all know why) but im gonna say the Pacers…they have a playoff-ish type team now…they added George Hill and Paul George seems to be a stud…watch out with what they do with Granger either in a trade or keep him and build the team around him.
5 – Who will really step up and be the next great Big Man?
Im hoping it will be Drummond…but you also have Lopez and Blake Griffin
6 – If you had to pick one player to build your NBA franchise with…who would it be? Why?
Honestly probably LeBron…or D-Rose because hes younger…pick one lol

6 – If you had to pick one player to build your NBA franchise with…who would it be? Why?
Honestly probably LeBron…or D-Rose because hes younger…pick one lol

I wanna be bias and say the Wizards (we all know why) but im gonna say the Pacers…they have a playoff-ish type team now…they added George Hill and Paul George seems to be a stud…watch out with what they do with Granger either in a trade or keep him and build the team around him.

iguapops420Participant1. Yes but shortened.
2. Not sure. Depends on how Wade’s body holds up IMO.
3. No. I still think Kobe is the best offensive player. One unhealthy season doesn’t change that IMO. Wade is 2nd.
4. Clippers
5. Blake Griffin
6. Blake Griffin

aamir543ParticipantYes, I know it’s not a popular choice, but I think he has all the potential to be at least a solid big. He has hte athleticism and the NBA body to be successful, and just needs a bit of seasoning before he is ready to really make a big impact like I hope he will make
And BMoreDc, you should not have gotten a neg, don’t worry, but haters gonna hate………. and skaters gonna skate, and bakers gonna bake, makers gonna make, fakers gonna fake, maters gonna mate, and shakers gonna shake.
