tigers04Participanti know its 9 games into the season but does anyone think after last night and the opening game vs the celtics a championship caliber team that the big 3 might have been a big mistake?
you wont find a bigger heat hater than me and while i do think it could work maybe in a year or 2 when the fill out a better roster(and when millers back) and learn to play with each other it could work esp. that the celtics and lakers will be older than now.but i just dont see them meshing for 48 minutes. i think they thought of how it was playing together in the olympics and thought it was a great idea, but it hasnt been. should it really take this long for 3 "superstars" to learn how to play together? bc they have showed no sign of grasping a feel for each other yet.
i know im some what biased but i honestly just think they have looked terrible minus the win vs the magic

cabbycabParticipantMy impression is that the coach does not yet have command of the team. Secondly, they are not playing good team ball period. Last night down the stretch, Lebron did the exact same thing he has been doing for last few years in Cleveland: clearing out at the top of the key, lowering the shoulder and driving to the hole in hope to get a foul call while ignoring his teammates. Thirdly, Bosh is just too soft down there. He is a face up guy and doesn’t provide a low post threat.

andxxxParticipantwhat was Lebron suppose to do? Wade was shooting bad and Bosh did nothing the 2nd half he gave the ball to haslem because he actually had it going the 2nd half. Lebron’s post game is going to take time Jordan did not truly have a post game until his 30s and Kobe just got a serious post game last year, are we forgetting Lebron’s only 26? Its 9 games in, I don’t expect them to start actually clicking until mid january

TC_42ParticipantHypothetically, if you were the Heat, would you trade Bosh for Kaman and Baron Davis? If both were considered healthy, of course.
Bosh just hasn’t helped them that much, as essentially everyone has noted. At least this would give the Heat a PG to run the show and hit 3s, as well as a low post threat who rebounds well.
I know it isn’t the best scenario, but I was trying to think of a team who has both a pg and a big semi on the block.

Im Your FatherParticipantI would not want Baron Davis’s contract under almost any circumstances.

boxn1ParticipantI wouldn’t want baron davis unless he is under 250, I personally don’t think it will work, but i don’t feel like im right because its only 9 games. They are a small team, bigger teams who play big will beat them unless LBJ, Bosh, Haslem, and whoever else want to rebounds to make up for the lack of big men. If it does work it won’t be this year.
