 I feel as though every year theres some young big man whos big, strong, and athletic, who starts rising up boards like fire their junior years and half of them end up being huge dissapointments and half end up being total monsters, the most recent to be andre drummond, and i guess well find out what his story will be the next few years, just a couple of examples…

i remember at the begining of the year when these junior recruiting classes would come out youd never even heard about these guys and by the end of the year, they would be near the top of the class if not the top… obviously greg oden continued that but ultimately was tormented with injuries, next was greg monroe who rose up then kind of fell back a little his senior year and now looks like an eventual NBA superstar, jeremy tyler decided to skip his final year of high school (WHO DOES THAT!?) and move to europe which seemed to hurt him, and sidney constantly got in trouble… so that brings me to the point is it time to maybe stop overanylizing players potentials, especially big men, so early in high school? not like i have a right to talk though, we all see these monsters mixtapes of them throwing down thunderous dunks and immediately jump on the bandwagons…

 Jeremy Tyler’s decisions hurt his draft stock, but he’s playing very well lately. 

In 13 games in April he’s averaging 8.8 ppg 5.5 rpg and a block in only 23 minutes as a 20 year old.  I think he’s showing the making of a very solid NBA player.

I was pretty high on Jeremy Tyler.  I thought Bobcats did a great job to draft him, but the next thing I knew, he was traded to the GSW for cash…=_=!

Good to see him showing improvements.  I think he can develop into a solid starting center if he finally gets his head together and be more mature.  Playing in Japan helped him a lot for his maturity.

Is there a reason why Favors wasnt on this list?

I think he is in a ideal situation in Utah. He has a coach that use to be a big man in Corbin, and gets to learn from Jefferson and Milsap.

Last the Jazz used a frontline of Milsap, Favors and Jefferson in the 4th and overtime against the Magic.

They combined for 45 pts and 30 rebs for the game.

Favors  needs starter minutes to really florish, but right now as a backup its a pretty good learning situation for him.

Tyler will make his money up on his second contract.  He was a second round pick and they tend to have shorter contracts.
