thetruthParticipantyall probly thougt i was reporting a trade or something else. Anyway David Stern and his asshole crew did it again.
NEW YORK — The NBA has fined three teams an undisclosed amount for leaking details of their schedules before the league released them.
The Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves were penalized, an official with knowledge of the decisions told The Associated Press on Monday. The official requested anonymity because the fines weren’t publicly announced.
The NBA will release its 2009-10 schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The league forbids teams to release any details before then.
So i guess if you broke a stupid rule you get hit with a stupid fine.

MagikKnickParticipantNot a big deal, just kind of stupid..
Its like the law, most of it is stupid, but you gotta follow it anyway or you’ll be “punished” for a lack of a better word

kong47272ParticipantIf they can’t keep their mouths closed for a few days they deserve to be fined, how hard is it to follow a simple request… don’t tell anyone about the schedule for a day.
If they let teams get away with this they won’t listen to other rules.

Toronto16ParticipantBig deal is right… What a stupid reason to fine a team

Knicks21It’s a rule, every team drops the schedule at the same time, you break the rule, we fine you

llperezsome of you guys mad at the nba? It’s rule and it was broken. I’m sure the fine was’nt that big. But if there was no penalty, then what’s the point of having the rule anyways?
