Right now, he’s a hot commodity to obtain his rights, but will he become a signature line athlete once he inks his deal, and if so, how long will the popularity last?

For the most part only guards are the main attractions to signature line deals, and if I recall correctly, John Wall was the last one to ink a signature line deal heading into the draft with Reebok, which didn’t last long at all.

What are you talking about only guards. I wore Shaqs my whole career.

The ‘90s were a different era, everyone had signature models which made it nostalgic. Fast forward to today’s era and how many big men have signature lines, especially the guys that deserve one?

All Hype so far.. lot of pressure on a freshmen PG,

Derrick Rose was amazing coming out of College, Trae Young is going to have some  growing pains in the league..

Stephen Curry took the league by storm but teams are starting to figure him out. Trae is coming in dubbed the next Curry well thats bad news cause half the league already knows how to scheme for him…

No one is figuring Curry out, he’s coming off a knee tear and isn’t 100%. You don’t win two MVP’s, set multiple shooting records then all of a sudden get "figured out".

Just watch man..  Curry is a great talent, I just believe Trae Young will see a bit of an adjustment period..

What does that have anything to do with what I wrote? You said team’s are "figuring Curry out", and I wrote that they’re not. Literally said nothing about Young.

My friend… put it together, remember Mike Vick in the NFL…

NFL teams learned to scheme for him and a lot of his success was wrapped around teams never seeing his skillset..

Trae Young wont have the same impact as Curry, just like the mike vick wannabes that came after.

Again, this has absolutely nothing to do with what I addressed. Not sure how you keep doing this…

A lot of y’all are probably too young to know or remember, but Vince Carter wore Puma’s his rookie year.

If I was him take the money from whoever gives him the most as unfortunately I see another Jimmermania(hype wise). Meaning I am not so sure he will be in the league 3-4 years from now..Don’t get me wrong I could be wrong but Physical limitations an chuckers never last long in the NBA.

With that being said- He should talk to one of these 3 teams:

BBB-If he wants to get in on a ground floor level company who knows they may even give hims own signature shoes. Which would happen a lot sooner than it ever would with Nike or Adidas. Who knows they may even offer him some shares.

Nike/Adidas if he wants to go with a big brand that will give him gear and an avearage to high deal.

The one that gives the biggest money out of a wildcard company: Puma,Under armour,Peak or Li ning could come up with some bags of money for him.
