sheltwon3ParticipantPistons need to make some trades and make move for the future. Daye and Monroe need more time. Stuckney may have to be moved if he really is causing drama. Prince and hamilton need to be moved.

kingoftheplaygroundParticipanti think they should trade for some picks, maybe get a big man in return for tayshauns expiring contract and then see if we can get some picks for hamilton or stuckey or both of them. If the 2011 draft class holds up to what its projected to be, they should be able to pick up atleast 1 potential superstar and some good quality players.

ChrischiParticipantHe probably won’t be able to hold is good shooting percentage and is averaging only 2.5 reb and ass. Which only gives him an EFF of 17 which isn’t too good if you think that he is probably their best player with Prince. I still think that he can get back to his is old Chicago days and forget that last season.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantDumars have assembled a cast of offensive misfits..That have no chemistry…With a coach most players on the team dont respect….Can they makeup for the mistake of passing on Melo in 2003 and bring him to town?

Malik-UniversalParticipantdetroit is very versatile team with guys who can play multiple positions, but were soft as balls, and two many scorers, and thats a bad thing
and kuester who doesnt know how to coach

dmo21ParticipantWould a trade between Detroit and Indiana, Villanueva for Ford, help both teams out? Detroit gets a starting power forward, he brings offense and still has some potential to become a pretty good player, but not much defense. I think he would fit good beside Hibbert as he can play the low block while Charlie V spreads the floor for him and for Collison and Granger for driving. Ford is an expiring contract for the Pistons and will be there only true point guard on their team and can run the second unit pretty good. Losing Villanueva will also free up time for Monroe, Daye, Jerbko, and other young guys.

doubledribblerParticipantEven though the Pistons have made some horrible moves in recent years they are in good shape. They do have talent, both young and veteran, just none of it fits together. If they could move Tayshaun and Rip that would be huge, plus I think both guys would probably see a boost in play. Losing can really drag guys down, but on a good team they both contribute immediately. As far as Carmelo goes I don’t see that happening. Hindsight is always 20/20, but who says he still wouldn’t want to be going to NY? Also, I wonder how many of the guys in that draft class could have been drafted instead of Darko and still been a better pick for Detroit.

durantula83ParticipantEver since Billups left, they’ve been in semi-rebuilding mode. We’ve seen the last couple of years that it’s not working. Stuckey is a good player but he’s no Billups, plus they added and overpaid guys like Villaneuva and Wilcox with the thought of staying competitive and playoff bound. I think it won’t take long for them to move Hamilton (who seems to be the odd man out, especially if McGrady gets better) and/or Prince. But most importantly I’d get rid of Villaneuva, and give Monroe all the minutes he can handle. Jerebko will be back and is a building block as well, the rebounding, defense and energy he brings to the able is a must for this team. Gordon should always start, even though he has his flaws, I think he’s the most important player on the team. Only a few players can take over a game like he can, he can score in bundles and is a great clutch performer.
