Singler or Budinger? They seem to be the same guy to me. Both 6’7 forwards who can rebound and shoot the 3. I feel Budinger is as good as he is going to get and Singler still has room to improve. Are they both the second coming of Mike Miller?

Miller Is Better Than Both Of Those Guys Will Ever Be, And Miller Isn’t All That Great. But If I Had To Pick Between The Two, I’d Choose Budinger. I Just Don’t See Singler Being Very Effective At The Next Level.

Budinger, easily. Kyle singler isnt a good enough athlete to play in the nba. You really cant compare them to mike miller because miller is a far better ball handler and passer than both of the them. He is also alot more gifted in terms of size and talent than singler, and slighty budinger too. A more realistic comparison for singler is mike dunleavy and budinger is brent barry.

I think Singler has real good potential. He’s obviously a good shooter, but he’s yet to start shooting good percentages. I think he’s a Turkoglu if he gets his jumper perfected. I also think Budinger has a good chance to be something like Mike Miller. I don’t think Singler and Budinger are similiar players though. I see Singler as an isolation and pick n role player, while I see Budinger as a player who runs around off screens. I also think Budinger would be a bigger defensive liablility considering his lateral quickness looks a lot like Mike Millers. So anyways, I’d take Singler first.

Budinger is a phenomenal athlete, kind of this year’s Joe Alexander. He is also a superior shooter, although not to the level of Mike Miller

If i have to choose one its Budinger. Having said that I still think he’ll be a bust and if anything be a quality bench player.

In highschool Singler was the next Larry Bird and Budinger was an elite volleyball player, how a few years can change some things. I think Singler will be a more physical better Scalabrine while Budinger will be maybe like a Brent Barry at best. Overall prospect gimme Chase Bud but neither will be known for there defensive prowess(sp).

I think Singler has the higher ceiling especially offensively. I dont think Budinger’s game is like Brent Barry because Barry was way more well rounded when he first came into the league.

Budinger is no Brent Barry. Budinger and Singler will both be huge busts and no NBA in their rights minds would pick them.

I actually like both guys. I like Budinger a little better than Singler because of his athletic ability. I don’t know if either one of them will be stars in the league and that has nothing to do with their ability. It has everything to do with their makeup. They both seem comfortable being guys who just blend in instead of guys who consistently take games over. Basketball is a skill game and Singler is awfully skilled for a guy 6-8 or 6-9. If Budinger had a little more dog in him he could be an all star caliber player.
