With all of this "Linsanity" I thought I would take my turn in a post about him..

What trio is a better option for NY?

    Jeremy Lin
    Iman Shumpert
    Landry Fields

    Toney Douglas
    Bill Walker
    Carmelo Anthony

Also, is this a fair question to ask??

If Amare Stoudemire had an account on this site, he would vote for the first trio

carmelo doesnt play in the back court. but to answer your question and if lin plays like he is now for the rest of the year how can u not pick him. landry had picked up his game tremendously last few weeks. and iman off the bench is great.

tony has been playing like hes scared. i would cry if we had to play him for long period of time not to mention starting him. how can i have confidence in a player wen he doesnt have it in him. billy walker is a shooter. if his shots dont fall offensivily he cant help you. melo is clutch. hes a closer. i would choose his trio if i trusted the other two guys more but we have seen tony billy and melo play and it lead to around 8 games under 500. now im looking at lin shump fields play and there on a  5 game win streak.

I think the big question is “What’s gonna if Carmelo and Amare come back and the team starts losing again”?

Melo is a "scorer" who is shooting 39% from the field and 29% from three. And he’s taking almost 19 shots a game about 4 of which are threes. That’s incredibly inefficient scoring. A large part is that he relying on taking people one on one which is not his biggest weapon. He is a shooter in the purest sense and the lack of open looks (most of the time this year he’s spent fading away) is really not helping. With Lin playing the point and Melo moving off the ball we could really see him come into his own. I feel like relatively Melo’s stock is low right now (for a perenial all star), they couldn’t get what they should for a player of his caliber right now

Carmelo doesn’t play in the backcourt.
