rileymcshea3Participantok I know this might sound crazy but the Minnesota Timberwolves could have a team of the feature going for the championship and winning it easaly if things pan out for the them and here is wat needs to happen
Step 1:sighn rubio and get him to his full potential of being another Steve Nash
Step 2:I say draft Enes Kanter or Either trade the pick to Washington for Javale Mcghee
Step 3:get Wesley Johson to his 4 overall draft pick form and his all star potential be cuz he is a good defender that can score at will if he reaches potential
Step 4:draft Jordan Hamilton who has star potential
so at this point before the summer league starts the T-wolves tall roster will look like this
pg-Ricky Rubio age-19 at 6’4 Jonny Flyn age-22
sg-Wesley Johson age-23 at 6’7 Wayne Ellington age-23
sf-Michael beasley age-22 at 6’10 Jordan Hamilton age-20
pf-Kevin Love age-22 at 6’10 Anthony Randolph age 21
c-Enes Kanter age-18 at 6’11 Darko Milici age 25
so as we see all those starters have all star potential… yes even Wesley Johson and Michael Beasly there both young and were both very high draft picks
also dont forget the bench is young and good
and for those people who will say they cant play defense and that defense wins championship just look at the height of those players and the quick people off the bench and Kevin Loves rebounding skills
but dong forget about offense they will have a great offense with Rubio running the court and with all these players that can score they could average maybe 110 points a game
So thats why they could win a championship in a couple of years

bennydabullParticipantdo you mean….. future?

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI don’t even know where to start on this topic. It’s ridiculous that you assume Kanter, Johnson, Hamilton, and Rubio are future all-stars when they did decent in college and the other two haven’t even played.
I’m really not going to even bother.

ZEOParticipantfor this to be true they have to do this 4 things.
1.Get a new coach
2.Get a new GM
3.Draft Kanter no matter what
4.Keep Kevin Love
We saw the Thunder turn it on in 2 years and we know from history any thing possible.

rileymcshea3ParticipantAnd retard that doesnt think they are not star "potential" (never said they are future all-stars i said have star POTENTIAL) Kanter broke the record for the international game going up against sullinger and breaking Dirks record for most points in that game and is only 18 i say thats star pontential ….. there is a reason why Rubio and Johson were drafted 4th and 5th in the draft and do you know that reason???becuz they have STAR POTENTIAL and as of hamilton he basically has the exact same game/stuff as Johson but younger and i said star POTANTIAL

Tha_PrinceParticipantHow did you manage to spell Potential right the first time but not the second?

rileymcshea3Participantbecuz if you say potantial like its spelled its more of an impact to the importance of the word im trying to make stand out

canesboy6Participantthis is a wierd thread. First of all, Kanter is not on the Timberwolves. So yes, assuming that they draft Kanter and he is dna of Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan buried in a Garden in Turkey that grew up to be the best basektball player ever, they should be good. But they havent done that, who knows who will draft Kanter.
The T Wolves are the T Wolves for a reason. I doubt any of those things are going to work out for them, and they will be what they always are. Young and Bad.

TeamShowtimeLakersParticipantthats a nice group of players…but that would be a very young team and they would need some type of veteran leadership to get them through a tough season let alone playoffs.

B EazyParticipantYeah but there’s only one ball for them all to play with. Likely they dont all develop into "STARS" if they are on the same team.

SwatLakeCityParticipantJust because a guy is picked high does not mean they have star potential. Their is a such thing as bust. Ever heard of Kwame Brown, Darko Milicic, Marvin Williams, Sheldon Williams, Brandan Wright? Those guys were all high lottery picks yet they have been busts so far. Just because Kanter has big games does not mean he will be a star either, he too could be a bust especially because he might have knee problems. Get your facts straight, Rubio can be a bust too. (And he’s probably a more likely bust than Kanter is) Hyping up a lottery pick up pretty much always means that player will be a bust in the end, so please don’t do it especially with Wes Johnson and Jordan Hamilton (Who might end up staying at Texas)
And they aren’t winning a title as long as David Kahn is their GM, that guy couldn’t win the title if it was staring him straight in the face.

rileymcshea3Participanthey dip shit i know what a bust is but they dont pick them becuz they think there gonna bust …(dumbass) they pick them becuz they think they have potential
