I thought he was lottery when he was in college. He slipped to the 2nd round. Don’t remember where, but I thought it was mid second round too.

Michael Redd. 2nd round in the 2000 draft which wasn’t a very good draft.

Gilbert has been injured too much and Michael hasn’t.

True, Manu and Scola, two gems that the Spurs drafted. That’s what they do best. Good for us we got Scola. Bad for them.

He’s been a key factor to the Spurs three championships, and he’s also won an NBA Finals MVP award. Pretty good for a 28th draft pick who was a virtual unknown. Who knew France would be able to produce one of the top PG’s in the league.

He always seemed to play with a chip on his shoulder. I wish he didn’t wear his welcome out in as a Laker though, he had himself a solid career. Always got a kick with his “extended” free throw shooting LOL

I’m not saying these guys are the biggest sleepers, but here are my favorite players to have gone undrafted.

Ben Wallace – Went undrafted in 1996, but has appeared in 4 NBA All-Star games, been on the NBA All-Defensive Team six times, been named Defensive Player of the Year four times, and won a championship with the Detroit Pistons in 2004.

Earl Boykins – Undrafted in 1998

Bruce Bowen – Went undrafted in 1993, but has three NBA Championships with the San Antonio Spurs and has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Team eight times. He also played in 500 consecutive games and has been runner up for the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award three times.

Brad Miller – Undrafted in 1998
Udonis Haslem – Undrafted in 2002
Andrés Nocioni – Undrafted in 2004
