0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 2:19pm #186853

Meditated StatesParticipantI thought he was lottery when he was in college. He slipped to the 2nd round. Don’t remember where, but I thought it was mid second round too.

JNixonParticipantYea Gilbert Arenas was who I thought of as well.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 2:27pm #186861
sakuragi84ParticipantMichael Redd. 2nd round in the 2000 draft which wasn’t a very good draft.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 2:31pm #186865

RickyRubio9ParticipantGilbert has been injured too much and Michael hasn’t.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 2:33pm #186867

joeParticipantwhat about mark price he was a 2 round draft pick
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 2:38pm #186872

R-Dot-13ParticipantManu Ginobili?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 2:59pm #186886
BasketballGuru24ParticipantLuis Scola he was like 3rd last pick in the draft
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 3:09pm #186890

Meditated StatesParticipantI think Manu was the last pic in that draft
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 3:09pm #186891

RickyRubio9ParticipantTrue, Manu and Scola, two gems that the Spurs drafted. That’s what they do best. Good for us we got Scola. Bad for them.

bakimmGinobili the fuckin beast he’s gonna get his jersey retired by the spurs
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 3:20pm #186899

romeeezybabyParticipantHe’s been a key factor to the Spurs three championships, and he’s also won an NBA Finals MVP award. Pretty good for a 28th draft pick who was a virtual unknown. Who knew France would be able to produce one of the top PG’s in the league.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 3:21pm #186904

RickyRubio9Participantbut I wasn’t completely sure if he was a second round pick which is where Sleepers are usually found. I was too lazy to go check too…lol

da gurunick van exel
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 3:28pm #186916

romeeezybabyParticipantHe always seemed to play with a chip on his shoulder. I wish he didn’t wear his welcome out in as a Laker though, he had himself a solid career. Always got a kick with his “extended” free throw shooting LOL
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 3:43pm #186933
WildDudeParticipantBen Wallace- 3 time defensive player of the year and he went undrafted
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 3:46pm #186936

RickyRubio9Participanthad four to go along with multiple All-Star Games as well as some rebounding titles and a that glorious Championship Ring.

0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 4:03pm #186961

JHong621ParticipantThe funny thing is, more then half the posts listed spurs players, and this year, they got ANOTHER gem in the mid second round….wow, I hate them, but they sure can draft
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 4:04pm #186964
billykParticipantBen Wallace (he had a DOMINANT 5 year stretch defensively)…..
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 4:16pm #186983

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m not saying these guys are the biggest sleepers, but here are my favorite players to have gone undrafted.
Ben Wallace – Went undrafted in 1996, but has appeared in 4 NBA All-Star games, been on the NBA All-Defensive Team six times, been named Defensive Player of the Year four times, and won a championship with the Detroit Pistons in 2004.
Earl Boykins – Undrafted in 1998
Bruce Bowen – Went undrafted in 1993, but has three NBA Championships with the San Antonio Spurs and has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Team eight times. He also played in 500 consecutive games and has been runner up for the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award three times.
Brad Miller – Undrafted in 1998
Udonis Haslem – Undrafted in 2002
Andrés Nocioni – Undrafted in 20040 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 4:17pm #186989

MagikKnickParticipantwhat happened to Earl Boykins? I used to love watching him on the court, always looked like a little 5 year old
Europe? Retirement?
