I’m going with Marvin Bagley III. Facial looks like a young Kareem, but his game I don’t know what he plays like. Chris Webber less powerful but longer?

    What you guys thinks?

I have yet to see Bagley play live yet, but his mixtapes are incredible.  I don’t think I have seen a kid that tall and that young get so comfortable in his body ever.  His movements are fluid, he has a quick second jump, agile and has killer instincts to go along with a fairly advanced skill set for his age.  He recently put up 35 points and 14 rebounds playing against kids two years older than him.

I am anxious to see him play in person.

I haven’t seen Bagley play yet but everyone lists him as one of the can’t miss prospect. Talks of him transitioning to small forward if he stays in his relative height and frame but if he gets even bigger, he seems like he can be quite a talented face-up four, with his quickness, touch and decision-making.

Deandre Ayton is the guy I’m always going to say though. It was pretty much a damn-near consensus that he was the best prospect in all of high school, even with adding the 2015 high school class as a sophomore last season and he hasn’t done much to lose that position, although the NBPA Camp in June might have shown he has some ways to go. I just can’t get the UNC game in the Bahamas last summer when I found out that was the same Deandre Ayton, when his team beat them while he was the best player out on the court against collegiate NBA prospects in Brice Johnson and Kennedy Meeks as a guy with only one year on high school down. The way they spelled his name "Deandre Auton" made me think it was someone else but turned out it was him.

I believe that Michael Porter is going to be the best of the bunch. His combination of lenght, skills, and, athleticism are superb.

(Subjectively speaking) Bagley seems out of position right now. I know he’s a FR but, not a SF, doesnt have lots of big man skills and I predict him falling in love with the perimeter and I dont see him being that succesful there. I remember when I said I didnt like Maliik Newman too much for some of the same reasons, I got a bunch of negs, now he dropped hard. Bagley gets by on athlecism. His moves are not very NBA translatable.

Michael Porter has perimeter skills, he was 6’5 less than 2 years ago, NBA range consistently, off the dribble shooting maestro. Not to mention I believe he will turn out a better athlete than Bagley.

I dont care too much who is better right now, I’m talking about projections.

Jayson Tatum: KD type player who just knows how to work in an offense and orchestrate an offense.

Harry Giles: Dominant rebounder with great inside scoring and is developing a perimetet game. Reminds me a bit of Moses Malone.

Malik Monk: It seems like the game just comes to him by the way he plays. Top athlete and a sniper behind the line.

Marvin bagley is the top prospect in all of high school basketball currently. That combination of skill and athleticism at the age is amazing. Next is DeAndre Ayton and Michael Porter in my opinion. Interesting note is that, Marvin Bagley is older than Wendell Carter (a top 5 recruit in ’17). By the time the 2018 draft ends, I believe Bagley would be 19 years old and 3 months, which would make him draft eligible and he may choose to reclassify to the 2017 HS Class, instead of going to college and entering the draft at the age of 20. That would make potentially one of the best classes in a long time with Bagley, Ayton, Porter, Bamba, Carter, Duval, Vanderbilt, Troy Brown and Gary Trent.

Eh I’m about to get destroyed by negs, but Porter and Ayton are pretty overrated. People make it seem like they dominate everybody while that’s not just not true at all. Bagley is really good though. I personally in terms of prospect 1. Josh Jackson 2. Dennis Smith 3. Marvin Bagley 4. Harry Giles

no doubt in my mind Jackson would eat Porter’s lunch now and for a while lol
