ChosenOneParticipantThis year is going to be another exciting year for Big 12 fans as the last few years have. The Big 12 bringing in great recruiting classes as in past years with Michael Beasley, Kevin Durant, Lamarcus Aldridge , and Blake Griffin. The Big 12 is definitely reloading with some amazing young talent this year included with the talent all ready there. My question to you is who is the best player in the Big 12?
For me it is really hard to make this pick with such young talent in the conference. As the Texas Longhorns argubaly have a top 5 recruiting class with Avery Bradley , Jordan Hamilton, and Shawn Williams.
An the Oklahoma Sooners have Keith Gallons and Willie Warren.
An Kansas Jayhawks have Sherron Collins, Xavier Henry , and Cole Aldrich. Who do you pick?
My pick is Cole Aldrich at 6-11 he has premium height to be a PF or C in the NBA. Has nice athleticism and a eye for ball when it comes to rebounding. An soft hands offensivley with still much improvement to be done defensively.

MagikKnickParticipantCall me crazy but i’ve been high on Avery Bradley forever…
Hes not better than Aldrich, Henry, or Warren right now, but he has the potential to be&Wally Judge is a sleeper..dont be surprised if he shocks everybody and produces like a lottery pick

JNixonParticipantCole Aldrich and Willie Warren are 1a and 1b right now to me…but Like Magikknick said, watch out for Wally Judge. The KState boys gonna be crazy this year.

bluedevils12Participantwith chosen one. I also think Cole is the best player in the big 12. I dont think any big men in the big 12 can guard him and that will definitely be a problem for most teams when they play kansas. Aldrich is getting better and better on his post offense and his defense is never in question. i think he’s in 4 a mean double double year

JNixonParticipantHe is, I agree. I think he is lottery material. He reminds me of Charlie Villanueva.

cookielogicParticipantI think Brackins is the top overall player…however, I do not think he is in a position to display it as much as the kids at Kansas, Oklahoma or Texas. Brackins will likely put up the most impressive numbers but in correlation to his teams likely win/loss record it won’t mean as much as say Aldrich, Collins, Bradley, or Warren.
