The east is done..
Now its time to move on to the west.

1. Chris Paul
CP3 is amazing. Scoring, passing, rebounding, defense. The guy literally does everything for the Hornets.
And he does it at only 6′ tall. If he was bigger just imagine what he could do..
He can put up a triple double on any night, and can score 30 and 15 any game.
Without him, the Hornets are almost as bad as the Nets..

2. Deron Williams
People may put him #1, sure, if thats your opinion. But hes 2nd for me. He is a very very good player, has size, speed, handles and a very good jumpshot. Its a shame that hes only in his 1st all star game this year, could be his 2nd or 3rd.

3. Steve Nash
Hes small, unathletic, but still, so good.
A great jump shooter, finisher and probably the best passer in the league. He averages a double double all the time, and averages 50% fg,40% 3fg and 90%ft every year. Thats insane. He runs the pick and roll to perfection, and has won 2 mvp’s.

4. Chauncey Billups
Mr Big shot is number 4 on the list. He can shoot, pass, and do anything on the court. So clutch, and hits big 3 after big 3 all the time, Earning the nickname Mr Big Shot.

5. Tony Parker
Tony rounds out the top 5, and a very talented top 5 i might add. He is quick, gets int oteh lane an finishes with ease. A very good scorer, and a solid passer. A good leader and has won championships and a finals mvp.

Aaron Brooks, Jason Kidd, Russell Westbrook, Andre Miller, Tyreke Evans, Baron Davis, Stephen Curry.

ive gotta agree with you, i just cant believe nash is the third best in the west. He could top any PG in the east, and he means so much to his team. I have to put him second.

Can’t argue with the list at all, spot on. I will say that it is interesting to see Collison rack up 32 assists in 2 games. Is he that good or is the system they play allowing for all those assists? Paul is without a doubt a great PG but it makes me wonder a little about his numbers.

When motivated he’s a lock down defender (crazy lateral movement) and throws out dimes with the best of them the only knock i have on him is his shot selection which at times can be horrible. and we’re talking about pgs and the most assists tony has ever averaged is 6.9 and barons avg 7 or more assists 10 times in his career. Baron hasn’t been hit with the injury bug as much as tony has in his career

Baron has the talent of a top five point guard, BUT… He’s not consistent nor is he always focused. He drives me crazy because he could be a dominant player.

I love Baron but he is so inconsistent as of the last 2 years,to me Tony Parker is my top 3 pg in the league off the strength that he is so effective in that slow system and can lead almost any team,he takes over games but the only thing I do wish he could rack up on more assist….and as for Daron Collison,the man is a underrated draft pick pure pg he could make any team better in the nba right now honestly,I was sayin Philly should have drafted him they would not be this bad right now.

i agree but i think Deron Williams is better then Chris Paul. Head to Head Deron Williams has more wins…and Deron Williams has a better all around game then Chris Paul…Paul is quicker and a better passer. Pauls knee injury might hurt him, if i was Chris Paul i would sit out the rest of the season and get that kneee a complete 9 months to come back on top of my game….anyone who has ever had any kind of knee surgury knows it takes at least 3 months to full strength…Deron Williams spreads the floor..he is a dangerous 3 point shooter, he can dunk on your center.

nice list, paul is definately number 1 … i remember one of the announcers on a game saying that derron williams has a chance to be one of the best pg’s of his generation, while chris paul has a chance to be one of the best pg’s of all time! I think that’s the difference.

baron davis seems to be the most controversial name here, but i think he has a tendency to not keep himself in shape and that hurts him … top 5 talent? perhaps … but definately not top 5 results i don’t think
