WhodunitParticipantIs Orlando offering #4 + #12 + Aaron Affalo.
Would you do it if your Cleveland, why?
And who would Orlando want so bad?

tuck243ParticipantIDK, it depends on how the Cavs feel about their current roster and who they want to draft… They will get a much needed veteran that is a 2 way player… They could trade Kyrie or Waiters and draft Exum at 4, or keep both and get Embiid…. Or they could be enamored by Parker or Wiggins and select one of them… IDK… Good question though

celtics1982ParticipantSure I’d do it. If I was after Embiid and thought he’d be there at 4. Otherwise who they going to take at 4? Maybe Randle, he could help them next year, but they have Bennett.
Have to think Orlando would be after Wiggins.

FutureNBAGMParticipantIf I were Cleveland I’d take that Magic deal in a heartbeat!

WhodunitParticipantFirst off, I think Orlando wants Wiggins as their superstar of the future.
If im Cleveland i do it cause I believe Julius Randle will be there at #4 and i think he’s the safest bet (my opinion) to be an all-star. Or take Embiid if i want. I also get Affalo who’s a top 10 sg on a pretty good contract. I can take another wing player at #12 like Gary Harris or Young. Which would allow me to trade Waiters now. PLUS i still have the possibility of signing LBJ. Thats a pretty remarkable roster going into the future, King James or not.

xJumpManxParticipantCleveland wants a star not role players. The owner knows its hard to get stars this is their best bet no trade will happen.

SwatLakeCityParticipantSo does this mean that Orlando won’t get a PG in this draft? Next year’s lineup Nelson, Oladipo, Wiggins, Harris, Vucevic with Harkless coming off the bench as an energy guy to back up Harris or Wiggins.
I don’t think the Magic want Nelson as their starting PG. Maybe they have another trade up their sleeve involving Nelson to get either Payton, Ennis or Napier.
Cleveland lineup: Irving, Afflalo, 12th pick (McDermott, Young), Thompson, Embiid (4th pick) with Waiters comg off the bench as a sixth man to back up Afflalo. Heard they also wanted to deal Jarret Jack to Brooklyn for Marcus Thornton so maybe Waiters backs up Irving and Thornton backs up Afflalo.

CavFanPRParticipantI wouldn’t trade down unless it’s with Philly for picks #3 and #10. Otherwise, I’d stay put and draft Wiggins.

OhCanada-ParticipantIf Cleveland trades down I think its to grab Embiid who they feel is #1 on thier board while gaining value elsewhere and being able to justify the pick.

LindseyParticipantWiggins seems like the only option for me. They’re not getting a superstar in a trade and every other option is a positional issue with all their other high selections. Its not that hard.

Bostoncelticsforlife9ParticipantIf the cave want to sign lebron and melo they should trade with the celtics they have like 18 mil in trade execption and non garim teed contracts so the celtics could just take the caves bad contracts and the #1 pick for that
