Hype MachineSeems hard to go past 1988.
3 of the top 5 players today….and probably 4 if D-Rose never got injured.

Roland209ParticipantI was born in 1987 and graduated high school in 2005. I feel ashamed of the Mcdonald’s All-Americans in my class. Bynum, Lou Williams and Josh McRoberts were the best players.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantI’d add greg oden to the whatever year he was born list just because he was one of the most dominant college players I have ever seen.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantMy final four would be 1988, 1990, 1976 and 1984.
Championship would be 1988 vs. 1990
Champion would be 1988. Hard to go against curry, Durant and Westbrook on the same team.
That 95 class has a chance to be really special as well.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantWhoa, the 76ers are great. I would probably have them against the 1990 team in the finals with the 1990 team winning in a close one. The 1988 team looks great too, don’t get me wrong, I just feel its not as balanced as ’76 and ’90. It doesn’t have the lock down defenders that the other teams do and it has quite a few offensive players who need to handle the ball all the time.
Going all time, 1963 would be pretty tough to beat:
PG Joe Dumars
SG Michael Jordan
SF Chris Mullin
PF Karl Malone
C Hakkem Olajuwon
6th Charles Barkley

HitsterParticipantWhen I read the initial forum title, 1963 sprang to mind with MJ and Hakeem as VictorOladipo pointed out.
The stacked 1996 draft class were born across a number of years and even though a lot of elite players joined the NBA from 1992-94 so the early to mid 1970’s aren’t as strong as we may think.
Of the teams in the original post 1988 and 1976 are the two that jump out at me. 1988 has insance offence but 1976 has great scoring and lock down defenders.
