Let me know who you guy’s have on top…

    1) Kyrie Irving – duh

    2) Stephen Curry – Jaw has dropped multiple times watching him in transition

    3) Jamal Crawford – Old man still has it!

    4) CP3 – That crossover is DEADLY

    5) Tyreke Evans – Not sure if he gets enough credit for the INSANE handle he has at his 6’6 frame…a summer exhibition staple year in and year out. On an unrelated note, Evans is working real hard at coming back from his injury last year. Don’t be surprised to see success from Evans and the Pelicans.

Honorable mention: John Wall, James Harden, Kemba Walker, D-Rose(top 5 back in 2010-2011)

He might not in-and-out cross you over like the others listed above, but he has an amazing ability to handle the ball with speed. Most of his TO’s are a result of the pass, not someone picking his pocket which further attributes to his handle.

I’d firmly place him on the honorable mentions list, but other than that I thought your ranking was on point.

Rose is a really good ball handler, but I’m not sure top five. He was just quicker than anyone perhaps even Westbrook for a time.

John wall beginning of his career the knock on him was his jumper and loose handle. He improved, but still wouldn’t label him a premiere ball handler.

I would put Rajon Rondo above both of them.

James Harden is definitely a top five ball handler. He has it all… Amazing feet… Amazing handle/pats… Amazing change of speed/pace and direction… Quick/strong first step. Not only that, he has majority of the advanced moves that the top trainers are teaching right now and he understands angles which is major.

CP3, Kyrie, Harden, JCrossover, Steph… Those guys stand out to me right now. Kemba Walker definitely does too.

Another guy who can really handle is Lance Stephenson…

Kyrie has the be handles now and maybe ever on the NBA level. He is able to bring a Rucker park type handle to the NBA and have success with it things that guys like Rafer Alston and Shammgod Wells were unable to do. Rafer Alston and Shamgod has the best handle I have ever seen best they were not able to implement into the NBA. Kyrie is hands down the best ball handler and amazingly has a turnover rate despite how much he dribbles. Watching his highlights is simply unbelievable.. After him I got Cp, Steph, Crawford, Rose

Tyreke Evans can really handle the ball but i wouldn’t put him in my top 5. It’s hard to argue with the other 4. I’d probably put kemba walker at 5.

Some other guys I’d consider for honorable mention are Jeff teague, Isiah Thomas, jj barea, Aaron Brooks and ish Smith.

Kevin Durant may have the best handle I’ve ever seen for a player 6-10 or taller. It’s not as tight as the other guys on this list due to the fact he is so long and starting from a much higher position. However, he is incredibly creative as far as using his dribble to get open and uses hesitations and change of pace about as well as any player I’ve seen at that size.

Isaiah isn’t the top ball handler in the NBA, but  his handles are pretty nuts. He can get by anybody and he dribbles the ball so low to the floor

A more interesting question to me would be who are the worst ball-handlers in the NBA, who are not big men and are therefore without excuse?

CJ McCollum has a stronger and more creative handle than most starting point guards in the league

Rik Smits, Dale Davis, and Greg Kite all had the best handles I’d ever seen, but you young kats probably don’t even remember

Jeff Teague is an underrated ball-handler

Also, Raymond Felton has the filthiest cross-over which is a surprise considering his fat little frame.

McCollum is better overall ball handler than Lillard, but I love Lillards chop step and in and out dribble. He’s so good at selling that move. Lillard also is really good at just attacking you at the right angles and he covers a ton of space with his attacking step. It’s hard for defenders to recover. Then when you start to cheat, that’s when he pulls up.

Love that you have Jamal on that list, he’s still my favorite ball handler. Underrated to me is Mike Conley.

Kyrie is tops for sure.  He is just filthy.

    How about Rubio ?

Jamaal Tinsley back in the day had crazy handles too.

Top 4 is spot on, but the 5 spot should absolutely go to Kemba.

Mike Conley’s handle is super underrated.

Even though he’s lost a step (or 3) Deron Williams can still handle the ball really well.

I’d imagine Baron Davis can still get fairly jiggy with it.
