prophetmeirParticipantHad a conversation on whos team is it really or who would you run the offense and main focal point for you team. If you had to pick one of these guys who would you build around.
Houston- Dwight and James. I believe this is Harden team and if I was the coach I would run alot of things through him.
Portland- Lamarcus and Damian – This is very close and I am excited to see how well Damian plays in his 3rd year. This is still Lamarcus team but Damian is very close.
Phoenix- Bledose and Dragic – Hard one but I would have to go with Dragic. I believe that he scores easier and his pace to the game is great for his teammates.
Spurs – Tony, Dunan, Lenoard – I think this year they would really really on Tony more than anything. Currently if I am the coach and had to build I think a fresh tony would do the trick
Dallas- Monta , Dirk, Chandler- Still dirk not a player better at the top of the key, quite leadership and can run set plays through him
Raptors- Derozon, Kyle – I think this is Demar team despite the stellar play of lowry, I really like his shot selection and his two way game. Very underrated defender.
Ill let others do the rest.

RUDEBOY_Participanti think until he retires the spurs are still duncan’s team..watching the finals last season miami didnt have an answer for him…in a league now that have 7 footers hanging out on the perimeter, duncan’s ability to score easy baskets in the post, defend, block shots and protect the rim, even at his age makes him an invaluable asset…
i think the rockets are howard’s team..
flip had said he had doubts about starting wiggins…but after watching wiggins play last night,he showed that he’s a much better passer then he showed at kansas…the t wolves will be his team….
parker & giannis will be an interesting duo to keep an eye on…..
kemba and big al are an underrated duo…

Ty BenjaminsParticipanti really feel Parsons should be the focal point of this team. Put him in the paul george role (better passer) Monte can still star in the Stephenson role and a declining Dirk in the David west role wit more shots…. this team is a lot like indy with more offense lol

skingzParticipantSacrament o’s season all depends on demarcus cousins and Rudy gay…This is the year cousins makes the all star team…USA basketball helped both guys more so boogie…If cuz takes another step up this year and Rudy plays like he did last year this team can have a .500 record…If not…another 28 win season

Andrew1984ParticipantTricky question because there are a lot of good teams that don’t necessarily feature a “duo,” like Cleveland, Chicago, etc. I’m trying to think of this question along the lines of Stockton and Malone and Jordan and Pippen. I wouldn’t call Dragic and Bledsoe a duo because they only played 50 some games together, nor would I call Monta and Dirk a duo because of how big of a role Parsons is expected to have. That being said, here are the eight that I feel fit the criteria:
1. Durant and Westbrook
2. Paul and Griffin
3. Parker and Duncan (You could argue I’m contradicting myself with regard to my above comments about Dallas and point to Kawhi Leonard’s increased role, but this is different because of the amount of success Parker and Duncan had together prior to Kawhi’s arrival.)
4. Harden and Howard
5. Lillard and Aldridge
6. Curry and Thompson
7. Wall and Beal
8. Lowry and DeRozan

prophetmeirParticipantWas not necessarly sayings whos the best duos , because my list did not reflect that. Its really if I was a gm and had a teeam who would I give the team too.

Checkbook_docParticipantI think it is important to not give a team to anyone because a real leader is going to take it. Think of Lowry last year, or Derron Williams when he was with the Jazz, or Kobe. I think teams make a mistake by trying to give the leadership role to players that don’t have it in them (my Jazz tried to do force Hayward as a leader last year and it was a mess).
I think your question is actually asking which player you would make the focal point on offense or defense, but that is very different from who you give the team to.
