TC_42ParticipantOr is the guy just too white?

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantNot the best crossover ever but the one of the funniest "break your ankles" crossover ever.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 3:53pm #631513

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantWhat part of that was a cross over? The player just appeared to fall down. Either you are on to something or you might be on something.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 3:56pm #631514

Mr. 19134ParticipantIt wasn’t even a crossover I would consider that a lateral move to get by somebody, that was more of a change of pace hesitation dribble and when he stopped he actually tripped who was chasing full tilt after him.

Wavy BagelsParticipantHaha Dude saw a beach on the court and tried to dive in head first…only to find it was a mirage.

GrandmamaParticipantI’m laughing even before I watch the video, is that kid jumping into a pool?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 4:20pm #631529

Mr. 19134ParticipantYo everybody just leave the kid alone it’s obvious from watching this footage that kid was trippin balls on acid.

TC_42ParticipantVarious definitions of a crossover.
“In a crossover dribble, the ball handler changes the ball from one hand to the other via a dribble. The crossover is a fundamental dribbling technique in basketball used to keep the ball in the hand furthest from the defender (preventing a steal) while maintaining a desired speed and heading on the court.”
“When an offensive player dribbles the ball from one side of his body to the other, as if he is going to move in that direction, then switches the ball back to the other side of his body to catch the defensive player off balance.”
“A basketball maneuver in which a player dribbles the ball quickly from one hand to the other.”

Sweet Jezebel.

OhCanada-ParticipantWhen trained to play basketball this move would not be a crossover it is a hesitation. If his momentum carried through his position and he advanced the ball it would be a crossover although he faked advancing the ball and "hesitated", the hesitation had the defender believing he had to continue with his momentum. The defenders momentum had him trip and fall as he attempted to adjust to the hesitation.
Although when posted on youtube its perfectly fine to just post it as a crossover, you will get more hits and there no reason to be so technical. Just when training and learning actual basketball technicallities it is a hesitation move.

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantSweet jezebel fell down because the ball handler stopped. So is wikipedia now a potential sponsor from this point on for NBAdraft.net?

NiceWithTheRockParticipanthaha why he fell llike that? That didn’t even look like a natural fall. Usually when someone gets crossed they fall straight down, but this guy just flew lol
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 5:05pm #631552

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantSo was it a crossover or not? Your feeling gets hurt WAY 2 easily.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 5:49pm #631567

TC_42ParticipantProviding some support or evidence is equal to getting my feelings hurt?
I think your feelings got hurt way too easily when I referred to it as a crossover.
And someone (you, I assume) just went through and negged all my comments from the past week. Talk about pettiness and getting your feelings hurt.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:02pm #631574

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantYour reasoning weasel is how I new your feeling were hurt dirt bag… you neg my last 10 comments and went off line like a school girl.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:07pm #631575
GottaBeTheShoesParticipantWho cares whether it was a crossover or hesitation? This was just supposed to be a funny post not a feud about what type of basketball move it was. PAY ATTENTION TO THE GUY DIVING INTO THE GROUND.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:11pm #631577

TC_42ParticipantWhat the heck is a reasoning weasel?
And thanks Nate for realizing the point of the post.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:13pm #631579

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantIf it makes you feel better…I’m sorry I hurt your feelings insinuating that you had know idea what a cross over was/is.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:18pm #631583

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantYour being you… reasoning is what thinking/rational people do to come to conclusions. Weasel was describing the underhanded nature of your posts.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:23pm #631589

Mr. 19134ParticipantSo you’re saying his post are layups?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:27pm #631593
Michael.S.ParticipantThis looks staged….
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:31pm #631592

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantThey are certainly no slam dunks. Expect him to Tc42 to throw you a handful of negs for your input.
Jammin Lemon… I wish you were correct in you assumption.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:41pm #631597

torontoraptors10ParticipantDo you know have anything else better to do?
- Who cares about the points?
- Calling TC42 a dirtbag and a weasel isn’t going to solve anything
- He provided evidence that it was a crossover
- And lastly, who give a F*CK, the clip was funny. Enjoy it for what it is.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 6:50pm #631600

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantYou don’t have a clue as to what you are talking about. Go back to bed.
It is nice that you gave proof that one of you can count to four.
And no… it is not a cross over.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 11:44pm #631663

PabloFiascoParticipantLol he got heart he got back up and was ready to guard ol dude but his teammate saved him

Charlie SheenParticipantIf he went to school in the hood, this moment will never be forgotten but most likely he left school in his dads BMW and went home to his mansion, pulled out his Mac Book, logged onto NBADraft.Net and checked to see if he’s famous, which he now is. Now thats winning
